Alden walked towards the mission board with Aemirya following behind him, looking rather grumpy.
What is up with her now?
She had been acting like this for a while now and although he had a few guesses, he didn't bother talking to her about it just yet.
This wasn't exactly the right place to have such a conversation and more importantly, the woman from earlier was still with them, following along with a pleasant smile on her face.
Meanwhile, Layla followed quietly, though her clenched hand did make Alden wonder if she was still thinking about her earlier encounter with her sister.
Not that it was any of Alden's business.
Soon enough, the four of them arrived at the mission board area.
The place was quite spacious with several large boards covering almost an entire wall. Hundreds of notices were pinned to them, each containing information about different missions available to adventurers.
There were many people around the boards as well.
