84. Karlok!
Eryndor was the first to kick the fight into an explosive start as he charged forward with Merylin following behind. The figure in the smoke started to walk forward to meet them, the crackle of flames roared as waves of flames surged, merged and broke apart. The noise of the battle filled with a cacophony of dissonance as no one knew who was winning or losing anymore. The appearance of one elf had tipped the scale but whether he could entirely flip the whole situation would be decided by the outcome of the battle.
"I'll go high you go low." Eryndor announced to his unlikely ally but she gave no response. To him he believed a bigger target was much easier to take down regardless of whatever crazy mana it had.
Boy was he wrong.
There was a flash of white light that came from ahead, a light that could not be hidden by the thick smoke. They both saw it and Eryndor could not help but scream, "Break!" They both jumped their separate ways, one going left and the other right.
