"How do you know it was an EMP strike?" Louis asked, narrowing his eyes even more as suspicion arose deep inside his brown pupils. If he were to recall correctly, Donatello should've been teleported way before the EMP reached him.
Could it be that he assumed that it was due to most of the electronics in the realm being shut down by it?
Donatello didn't answer; instead, he continued to watch one of the footage that showed a speeding missile coming straight towards it, only to be saved by an individual with a black ponytail.
"That's Mirage, I assume? Your disciple, correct?"
Louis nodded, still holding suspicions about the rival academy's headmaster to his chest. "Yes. He's a splended student of mine and one that has been with me for years. I'm sure you already know this."
Donatello slowly nodded, "Of course. How long has it been? We've been companions for as long as I can remember..."
The man then smiled crookedly as he added:
"It's just a shame that—"
