"I'm not a criminal!"
With her back against the wall, and her hands raised frantically in surrender and defence, Lillian shouted:
"I just know the future!"
Captain Righthook, having swung his fist, instantly paused it right before Lillian's face; his eyes slowly widened at what he heard.
Seeing that she had captured the man's attention, Lillian gulped and continued, "I-I know the future... That's why I know that you guys are able to bring my companions back to life..."
"The god... Was it the God of Futures that blessed yar...?"
"No... The God of Fate..."
With the unbelievable words echoing into his ear canals, the Captain slowly turned back to the Seagull Brigade Captain and found him nodding his head a bit; just as shocked...
"She... Speaks the truth again... Impossible..."
Quiet gasps filled the room. The ability granted to the captain of the Seagull Brigade never failed and was always right, thus... This added even more weight to Lillian's words.
