Yukino sat on the bathroom floor, an empty, dazed look on her face.
Outside, the commotion grew ever more intense.
After losing control of herself the first time… she just couldn't stop!
…
Long before that, Tatsuki had forgotten about Yukino's presence entirely.
Partway through, he had carried both Eriri and Nezuko back to his room. Besides lovemaking, he used primal energy to strengthen their bodies—partly to improve their overall combat ability, and partly because stronger constitutions would help them learn Haki and the Six Powers. Later, he planned to arrange this for everyone else as well, plus give each of them two Senzu Beans for emergencies.
He, personally, didn't need Senzu Beans. His own primal energy was better anyway.
…
Nightfall.
Because of Cocolia's arrival, Leone clamored for a welcome party. Everyone seemed interested, and Tatsuki naturally didn't refuse. Nezuko and Eriri were so exhausted that Tatsuki had to use primal energy to restore them—otherwise they'd have missed the party.
That evening was quite lively. Everyone gathered at Tatsuki's home. They had homemade dishes and purchased food, filling up a big table. A large group sat around it, and the atmosphere resembled a big family reunion dinner.
Lively personalities like the tsundere Mine, carefree Leone, and the food-obsessed Kurome and Akame infused the meal with plenty of fun.
Tamayo, Kie, Sayuri, and Kanae chatted together like old girlfriends, occasionally blushing with shy smiles. Even Yukino, who initially kept drifting off in thought, gradually wore a smile and integrated into the gathering.
For Cocolia, this was her first experience with such warm enthusiasm. She needed a bit of time to adjust.
Beyond the playful chatting and drinking, Tatsuki also made up to Kie for the regret from earlier that day. Even though the two of them sat a fair distance apart, Kie's cheeks were still tinged with red—once in a while a faint noise slipped from her mouth, which people took as a side-effect of too much alcohol. Beneath the table, who-knows-whose smooth leg was brushing against his. Since most of them wore loose or revealing pajamas, he had no way to tell whose leg it was. Slightly buzzed, he didn't really care. While he could have used his power to avoid getting drunk, that would ruin the fun—he preferred the mild tipsy feeling.
In that tipsiness, he caught the mysterious bare leg, giving it a wandering caress.
"Yukino, your face is all red—are you okay?"
Eriri noticed Yukino's deep blush, puzzled.
Yukino stammered, "I—I'm a bit drunk."
"Huh?" Eriri tilted her head, confused. We're having fruit juice, aren't we? Could Yukino be the type who gets drunk on juice?
…
Around midway, an interesting episode occurred.
"Hmm?"
Tatsuki sensed a change in the sensations around his gun. He glanced toward Kie, only to see her shyly motioning with her small hand toward Tamayo next to her.
Tamayo subtly shifted position.
"Tss!"
Yes, that feeling was definitely Tamayo. Judging by her expression, it seemed she was the one who took the initiative via Kie's help.
He couldn't deny… it was quite an charming approach. With that, his excitement soared!
…
The welcome party lasted until around 8 p.m.
"Look at them—so plastered," Najenda sighed, wanting Akame, Kurome, and Seele to help carry the knocked-out Leone, Mine, and Chelsea. However, Leone and Chelsea unexpectedly resisted, so they had to settle for taking Mine away.
Tatsuki placed the other two in a spare bedroom of his, letting them sleep it off.
Though Kie and Tamayo were only slightly tipsy, their bodies went limp. A somewhat confused Nezuko escorted them away. Yukino, along with Kanae and Sayuri, cleaned up the dishes and furniture. Once done, Yukino left in a flustered, blushing hurry, and Sayuri and Eriri—after some affectionate kisses with Tatsuki—went home to sleep. It had been a while since they last spent the night in their own place. Kanae played around with Tatsuki on the sofa for a bit, and then…
Cocolia—fresh from her bath, wearing a light, modern pajama set—came over. Seeing them, Kanae excused herself to shower next.
Cocolia's newly bought short-sleeve pajamas revealed a fair amount of skin. She sat beside Tatsuki, who poured her a cup of tea.
"How do you feel about living here?" he asked.
Cocolia wore a sentimental look. "It's so different from Belobog—so full of vitality and peace, something I once longed for… Everyone is so welcoming."
Her gaze drifted, recalling the hopeless days with no future in sight…
Smack!
Tatsuki's right hand gave her thigh a light pat, dispelling those memories.
"You're in a new world now—why dwell on that past? Don't forget what Serval told you."
"Serval…" Yes, they'd all forgiven her sins. "I see."
Cocolia tried to relax, chasing away old thoughts. But the warmth of Tatsuki's hand set her on edge. Though she was once the Great Guardian, she had never had time for personal feelings; this was all very new to her.
Sensing the tension, Tatsuki prepared to pull his hand away, but her slender hand stopped him. Lips slightly parted in a blush, Cocolia spoke quietly.
"Would you despise a sinner like me?"
"Doesn't matter what mistakes you made on Jarilo-VI. In this new world, you're mine, not a sinner."
His answer was decisive and domineering.
"…" Cocolia's smile bloomed beautifully. "Thank you… my… Master. I'm willing to offer you everything."
She guided Tatsuki's hand upward, leaning in closer. Of course, he followed her invitation.
They continued on the couch until emotions spilled over. Tatsuki scooped Cocolia up and carried her to his room. A while later, Kanae returned from her bath…
…
In the spare room next door, two pairs of eyes met in the darkness.
Leone and Chelsea leaned against the wall.
"They're… unstoppable," Chelsea whispered, a bit in awe.
"Tch, or we should say Tatsuki is unstoppable," Leone corrected.
They were far from drunk—just a bit tipsy. Their earlier refusal to be carried away was all an act.
Listening to the sounds next door, they both automatically touched themselves—exchanging a glance, both feeling… quite wet. Then they made a decision and quietly slipped into Tatsuki's bedroom…
…
Past midnight, Yukino woke to use the restroom. On her way back, she noticed Cocolia's door was ajar, but nobody was inside. Where had she gone? Doing what? The answer was obvious enough.
Her mind conjured specific images, making her freeze, gazing in dismay at her nightgown. "What's wrong with me…" she muttered. Her body reacted on its own.
Biting her lip, she locked her door, lay on her bed, and—though hating herself for it—reached out once more…
…
Morning.
Tatsuki surveyed the mess of his room with a wry smile. It started with two, then three, and ended up five total. That was… fascinating.
"Mm…"
Cocolia's eyelids fluttered open, so he placed a light kiss on her soft lips and fondly stroked her cheek. "Get some more rest—you worked hard," he murmured.
"Mm…"
She slowly closed her eyes again. Having done so much on her first time, she wasn't flustered—only comforted and fulfilled. Having walked so long in a futureless path, she now felt at ease. She might even be getting addicted to this feeling.
Cocolia dozed off once more. Tatsuki rose to take a shower.
Whoosh!
Unexpectedly, Leone followed him in.
"Let's keep going!"
She was also nude, but this time differently. Her entire physique was more muscular, sporting lion ears, beastlike pupils, and lion claws—a wild beauty. She had activated her Teigu, greatly boosting her strength and stamina. That explained why she dared challenge him again.
Tatsuki grinned. "Sure, why not?"
Afraid of what, exactly? Now that his body had been enhanced by primal energy, he hadn't even used his full strength yet.
…
Leone suffered total defeat. Even with her Teigu transformation, she lost to the newly strengthened Tatsuki. He didn't even bother using his restorative powers, purely relying on his physical prowess to KO four opponents. Being invincible was indeed lonely…
…
Sunday.
That day, Cocolia returned to her room, while Leone and Chelsea pretended to be hungover and wandered off. Kanae was asleep. Meanwhile, Tatsuki took off to Kie's place, spending a wild day with her and Tamayo…
…
Monday.
Tatsuki, Yukino, and Eriri arrived at school together, drawing stares and murmurs as usual.
In the Supernatural Research Club, it was only him, Yukino, and Miko Yotsuya. Miko had come, as always, in fear of the evil spirits, seeking the club's safety. Now she slumped over a desk, exhausted, dark rings under her eyes, sleeping like a log—apparently feeling so safe here that she could rest deeply.
As Tatsuki kept watching Yukino's expression, she sipped her red tea and quietly set down the cup. She asked softly, "What are you staring at?"
"I just feel…"
He scrutinized her face once more, concluding: "It feels like there's a certain mature vibe about you today."
Yukino's heart lurched, petrified he might uncover the truth. She tossed her hair haughtily and forced a calm, chilly tone: "I've never been immature."
"Hmm… maybe I was mistaken."
Tatsuki let it go. Yukino quietly exhaled, relieved. If he ever found out she'd lost control of herself like that, she'd rather die. She'd jump off a building, for sure.
Having time on his hands, Tatsuki decided to check his abilities. When he activated the mystic eyes, his gold irises turned a clear frosty blue, glimmering vibrantly—like a kaleidoscope ring of bright colors at the center.
These were the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception from the Nasuverse, typically manifested by only two people: Ryougi Shiki and Tohno Shiki, both seeing the lines of death. But those connect to the Root of Fate's Moon Type. For Tatsuki, though, it was the Myriad Worlds Source. He could kill entire worlds.
He looked around the clubroom. Once neat and tidy, it now bristled with twisted black lines in his eyes, as though an unruly child had scribbled all over everything—the walls, floor, and ceiling—like patchwork precariously assembled, ready to break at any time. Even Yukino was covered in lines symbolizing her death. He understood the meaning: if he cut those lines, that lofty flower he admired would meet her final demise.
He also glimpsed countless special lines in the air, representing air, or various elements, even laws of this planet. All of these, now, were things he could kill.
