Chapter 149 - Chapter 147 – Cat-maid Yukinoshita!

Yukinoshita Miyuki could deeply sense her two daughters' unshakable determination.

She reached out, wanting to take the tea to suppress the inexplicable turmoil in her heart, but recalling her earlier "embarrassment," she paused and silently retracted her hand. It took her a long while before she calmed the complicated emotions inside her.

Since there was no stopping them, she softened her voice, "How do you plan to hold weddings for the two of them?"

Tatsuki's eyes shone with star-like brilliance as he responded clearly, "With just a thought from me, everyone in the world would naturally accept our union. Of course, we don't actually need anyone's approval."

Hearing this, Miyuki remained silent. Knowing he could effortlessly destroy the earth, such a confident and dominant statement merely left her stunned once more. A tiny hint of envy toward her daughters unexpectedly surfaced in her heart. Immediately pushing away these thoughts, she sighed lightly, "It seems I really can't stop you."

"Mother!" Hearing their mother's consent, Yukino and Haruno immediately smiled, unable to hide their excitement.

"Yukino, Haruno, have you forgotten what I've taught you? Always stay calm."

Miyuki quickly returned to her authoritative self, yet the girls obediently sat up, their joyous expressions unchanged. Witnessing this, she felt extremely conflicted.

She turned to Tatsuki, "Since I have agreed, should I discuss this with your parents?"

"I have no parents or relatives. These things, I can decide myself."

"I apologize..." Miyuki was slightly surprised.

"I'm used to it," Tatsuki smiled faintly. Being alone meant he had no constraints.

"What about the date?" Yukino nervously held Tatsuki's hand tighter. It was her first time discussing marriage, making her inevitably anxious.

"To be honest, I haven't decided yet," Tatsuki admitted frankly. "I have many girlfriends, so I need some time to arrange properly. My purpose today was simply to reassure you and receive your approval."

"Many... how many?" Miyuki questioned cautiously.

"About twenty."

"Huh?!"

Even Haruno counted her fingers, puzzled, "I thought it was just around ten or so? Wait, are we including those from school?"

Miyuki felt dizzy, and Tatsuki continued calmly, "There are also several from other worlds."

"Other worlds?!" Haruno exclaimed in surprise.

Yukino nodded, "It's true, Tatsuki has indeed visited other worlds."

Miyuki felt as if her heart was about to stop from the avalanche of shocking revelations. Taking a deep breath, she asked, "You aren't just teasing me, are you? Haruno, is this another one of your jokes?"

"No, Mother. This isn't my idea. It's true that Tatsuki has many girlfriends," Haruno said, smiling awkwardly.

Yukino also blushed and avoided eye contact, "I...I knew this as well."

Seeing Tatsuki's sincere expression, Miyuki finally understood that everything he said was genuine. Her worldview utterly shattered.

On their way home by train, Tatsuki isolated their compartment from others. Haruno leaned on Tatsuki, whispering softly, "How do you think mother feels?"

"She will eventually accept it," Tatsuki replied confidently.

Haruno relaxed into a contented smile. Tatsuki reflected silently—so far, three people from his world had been frightened to the point of embarrassment: Yukino, Yumiko Miura, and now Mrs. Yukinoshita herself. Was it perhaps a trait of "Oregairu"? He glanced down at Haruno, recalling she'd had similar moments before—though not from fear. Yukino noticed Tatsuki's mischievous gaze and blushed, wondering just what he was thinking.

That night, alone in her bedroom, Miyuki stared at the clothes she'd changed out of, now fully dried but filled with embarrassing memories. Her daughters' transformation and Tatsuki's unimaginable powers made her feel like it was all a dream. Yet, upon careful thought, she wasn't surprised Tatsuki had many girlfriends. After all, he was someone who could easily destroy the earth, control humanity, and travel across worlds, yet chose to treat her daughters with sincerity and honesty.

She reflected again on his striking golden eyes that pierced one's soul, strong arms that gave a comforting embrace, and the subtle tenderness in his voice—qualities her former husband never possessed. Suddenly her heart raced, and her body, long untouched by affection, reacted uncontrollably. Miyuki quickly covered her mouth, whispering in confusion, "What's wrong with me...?"

Late that night, Haruno left for work, leaving Tatsuki and Yukino alone in the house at Minato Ward. Inside, Eiri, Nezuko, Chito, and Yuri were sleeping on the sofa, with the cat, Haru, curled comfortably in Eiri's arms.

Hearing Tatsuki and Yukino entering quietly, Eiri rubbed her sleepy eyes and immediately clung to Tatsuki affectionately, making the cat jump into Yukino's arms instead. Tatsuki gently settled the sleepy girls into their rooms. Yukino observed Tatsuki spoiling Eiri and murmured jealously, "You really pamper her."

Tatsuki smiled and promptly kissed Yukino in front of Haru. The little cat patted Tatsuki's cheek with her paw, "Meow! (I want to play too!)"

Tatsuki chuckled, "This game isn't suitable for kittens."

The two quietly knocked on Chinu's door, learning Kanae and Sayuri had gone out on a "girls' trip," leaving several rooms free. Yukino, in high spirits, surprisingly took the initiative to put on the maid outfit she'd long abandoned. Even more shyly, she requested Tatsuki to create cat ears and an "improper version" of a cat tail for her.

With flushed cheeks, Yukino willingly fulfilled Tatsuki's playful request. At the bedside table, Haru watched curiously.

"Meow?" Yukino whispered softly.

"Meow? (Yukino knows cat language?)"

"Meow... ah! Slower..." Yukino's soft plea came breathlessly.

"Meow... (I still don't understand Yukino's cat language.)"

Returning home late, Sayuri, Tamayo, kie, and the others had grown accustomed to the lively noises from Tatsuki's room.

"Tatsuki's energy is truly endless..." Sayuri sighed, rubbing her temples.

Tamayo, as a doctor, adjusted her glasses calmly, "His stamina and energy far exceed human limits. I doubt we could match him together."

Cocolia commented curiously, "I didn't expect the usually reserved Yukino to be so bold."

Kanae shifted slightly, blushing softly yet smiling wryly, "Don't mind it, you'll get used to it." Of all, she had experienced Tatsuki's endurance the most and knew exactly how unstoppable his desire could be.
