Chapter 153 - Marriage

All the anticipation, all the hate, all the tiredness and the anger of the guests present multiplied as soon as the chapel's main doors flew open revealing a damsel in a lovely pure white gown accompanied by her father as they walked down the aisle.

As soon as she stepped on the red and gold overlay of the chapel's aisle, the music began to play but this time it was a slow, melodious, enchanting tune.

Angelica kept her gaze straight ahead and so did Dariel.

The poor ladies that were devastated by the fact that Ian was actually about to marry broke into tears. Some subtly, others vehemently, regardless, it did not matter, their sobs were drowned by the music playing.

Brea scoffed as soon as she laid her eyes on Angelica. Nothing could compare to the hate she had for Angelica. As she watched her walk down the aisle dexterously with an entitled expression on her face—or at least that was what Brea thought it was—Brea rained nothing but curses upon her for taking her place.
