Iker frowned, "I know her well, she is not a stranger to me. I have taken enough time to make sure she is the one for me and I know it.".
"My dear son, I have been alive far longer than you have been. I know how things actually are compared to how they seem," she said. "With the little you have told me about this woman, I am not sure she is right for you.".
"Mother, she is right for me, I know her. I already said that I understand your concern as you have not met her yet. The only thing I ask of you is that you try to be understanding and do not make any assumptions to come to any conclusions before you meet her," Iker begged.
Taryn frowned, it was already too late for that.
"I want to do things the right way, and that is why I am taking things slowly. When things have settled down, I will bring her here to meet everyone.".
"I will be honest with you, Iker. I am sure you are making a mistake by marrying a woman you barely know," Taryn said.
