"Would you be a dear and chop some sage for me?" Ohara smiled, she would do it herself, but her hands were full with watching the eggs she had just poured into the skillet that was placed on the fire.
"Sage? In eggs?" the cook asked surprised. Regardless, he quickly chopped some sage for her.
"Yes, it is unusual in choice, however, I know for a fact that it adds an earthy, savoury depth to the eggs. It is perfect for when you are tired of the same bland taste of eggs," Ohara explained.
"Interesting," the cook replied. For one, Ohara certainly knew her way around the kitchen, unlike what he had initially expected. She was not a pampered lady who was scared of the boiling oil or steam coming out of the pots.
"So, I just pour it all in?" he asked.
"Yes, dear, just pour it in," Ohara smiled.
