Taryn's face contorted into an extremely ugly frown.
"And where exactly was I wrong, or have I ever been wrong?" she scoffed.
"Mother, no one is perfect, we have all been wrong one time in our lives or the other, and I know the mistakes you made and what caused you to take them, and I do not want to repeat them, far from it because we are all still suffering from such mistakes," Iker said.
He felt like he was saying too much, but at the same time, he needed his mother to hear him, he needed her to understand that he was not trying to disrespect her, far from it, it was only that he would not allow her decisions in his life cause him any more pain and punishment.
