The whole room went frigid once Alyn finished speaking. Liam had never wanted to hit the doctor so badly before. He always knew the former was a little off in the head but didn't know it was to this extent.
Why else would he be digging his own grave trying to talk back to Alpha Sam when one could clearly see that he was upset?
"I can throw it in the incinerator, if you want, Alpha."
"Incinerator?"
Liam groaned. "Incinerator? What the fuck are you even talking about?''
Alas, Alyn ignored him and went on, "I'm sure you don't even want to touch the bouquet brought by that human." But contrary to his provocations, Sam did something that threw him off guard.
"That's why I must be the one to do this." Sam said, "That human disgusts me so much that I want to discard this myself. I'm going to burn it when I get back to my office."
"There is no need for that, Mr. Donovan." The three of them simultaneously turned in one direction when they heard someone who shouldn't be there.
