Months passed, and Amber's life kept getting better. Her company was stronger than ever. Clients returned. Investors had full trust in her again. Her staff worked harder, proud to be part of something real. Amber changed too. She was tougher now, but she was also lighter. She smiled more. She trusted herself again.
Nicholas stayed by her side through it all. Every meeting, every late night at the office, every victory, he was there. Not to save her, but to remind her she didn't have to carry everything alone anymore.
Amber walked into her office and found Nicholas waiting with a coffee in one hand and a file in the other. "What's that?" she asked, taking the coffee with a smile.
"A new opportunity," he said. "Bigger than anything we've ever done."
Amber flipped through the papers. It was a huge deal, one that could take her company to a whole new level. She looked at Nicholas, excitement growing in her chest. "Let's do it," she said.
