Just like that, their one month of honeymoon soon came to an end. It was the last day, and because they had spent a whole month exploring every nook and cranny of the Empire, today was their day to rest. So, unlike any other day, Tesarius and Aurora spent it in the balcony of their room, sipping on tea and staring out at the vast greenery of the Palace, one of the many owned by the Royal family all over the Empire.
"Tomorrow, we go back to work, back to being the Emperor and Empress of Lanterbur." Aurora sighed, cup in hand. Tesarius smiled at her as he sipped from his cup, watching her. "Is there anything else you want to do or see?"
"Like what?" Aurora chuckled despite herself. "You have already completed my bucket list and much more than that. I can't think of anything else."
"Fair enough."
"What of you?"
"Same. Only I wish I could think of something else to prologue these blissful days."
"Not interested to go home either?"
