"W-Wha…" Edward's face had turned white as a sheet, Madeline's face covered in perspiration as Aurora wailed out yet again. The only one who found herself moving was Anne, as she immediately began barking orders.
"LADY MADELINE, GO GET THE PHYSICIAN! INFORM THE DUCHESS AND THE KING! LORD EDWARD! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER AND INFORM GART! TELL HIM THE EMPEROR NEEDS TO COME HERE RIGHT NOW!"
She didn't need to tell why the Emperor needed to come, nor did anyone question her orders despite her being lower in ranking than them. Instantly, the siblings were up on their feet, scrambling to get the orders fulfilled while tears gathered in all their eyes, none more painful than Aurora's herself as she realized what was happening already. She felt the strong smell of iron in the room.
I guess… the time has come after all. The time to make a choice.
