His eyes had long since turned red. At first glance, one might think it was his rage—rage at seeing his people slaughtered, rage that drove him into a berserk state.
That wasn't entirely wrong. But the truth was a bit more twisted then this.
The rage in his eyes had already faded. Even though he had entered Berserk State Level Two, the overwhelming display of power before him had transformed that rage into fear. And that fear brought clarity.
Not because he controlled the state. But because fear had overridden the madness. He didn't realize any of this.
