Blaize stepped into Selene's room and froze. Selene was sitting bolt upright in bed, wide-eyed, like she had been caught stealing something.
Then, Selene surprised her by bursting into giggles.
"Please, come on in," she urged. A smile broke onto Blaize's confused face as she made her way closer to her friend.
It was only when she approached the bed that she noticed a little book being tucked away under Selene's pillow.
"I thought you were someone else," Selene said, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I found an empty book and I started to write in it…. I promise I'm not writing about anything creepy. I'm only using it to express myself and to…"
Blaize hurriedly placed her hand over Selene's, looking deeply into her eyes. Then, her other hand went up, her fingers moving gracefully in the air.
You don't need to explain yourself to me or to anyone. I know you are not doing anything creepy. You are not creepy.
