Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Siegfried is Watching in Secret

"People die when they are killed, of course I know that. But I am the Hero of Hyrule, the Traveler of Teyvat, the Adventurer of Arad, the Doctor of Rhodes Island, the Summoner of the Rift, the King of Stain (strikethrough) the Witness of the Fire Moth (strikethrough)... By the way, what are the qualifications for being inscribed in a Stigmata?"

[A Stigmata is a difficult thing to describe. Just think of it as a cheat code in a game. As long as you can think of something, you can create it with the Stigmata.]

[In addition, the Stigmata is where bloodlines are passed down. It houses the memories and power of the Stigmata's owner. If a descendant's power reaches or exceeds that of the original owner, it will overwrite the original owner's inheritance or create a new one alongside it.]

[So, the strength of a Stigmata depends on the strength of its original owner. As for the one I gave you, it doesn't have much power inherited within it, only a few authorities. It can't punch the Imaginary Tree, kick the Sea of Quanta, or drown the Honkai with saliva, but it's enough to make you invincible in this world.]

[Also, the Stigmata is a double-edged sword of the Honkai. It will increase your Honkai adaptability and grant you power and eternal life, but excessively high Honkai adaptability will also make you a perfect vessel for the Honkai, a Herrscher host. You must be careful not to expose yourself to the God of Honkai before you have mastered the authorities I have given you. Your arrival in this world was an accident, a variable that exceeds this world's assessment. It might cause the God of Honkai to turn you directly into a Herrscher, or to intervene personally.]

"...I admit I was speaking a little too loudly before. It seems that as long as I don't court death, I can just lie low until the end, then emerge and stun everyone by defeating the Honkai!"

[Yes, but I don't think that's very likely. Do you believe in fate? As expected, protagonists are drawn to each other...]

"? Have you started having eighth-grade syndrome too?"

[Never mind. From now on, you're on your own. The civilization level of this world isn't high enough, so I can't provide you with much help. You'll have to explore the wonders of the Stigmata yourself.]

Night had deepened, and it started to snow outside. Ryn pulled the blanket tighter, inexplicably thinking of his parents. I'm such a terrible son. To disappear from the world without a sound, how sad and desperate my parents must be.

But he wouldn't blame her in the Stigmata. Although he had rashly agreed to save her, it was still his own words. By the way, he still didn't know her name. He'd ask her next time. No, wait, she said she forgot her name. Then he'd discuss giving her a new one.

As Ryn thought, he drifted off to sleep. After a while, the sleeping Kiana, as if smelling something delicious, gradually crawled onto Ryn again, drooling.

While they slept, not far away, a white-haired uncle was lying in the snow, peeking into the room through a window with binoculars.

The uncle, Siegfried, had an empty left sleeve that fluttered in the wind. He held the binoculars with his right hand, and next to it lay a greatsword.

When he saw Kiana carrying a girl back, a healthy smile appeared on his face. He secretly gave Kiana a thumbs-up. As expected of a Kaslana.

When he saw Kiana give the girl some simple treatment, feed her some medicine, put her to bed, and cover her with a blanket, he thought to himself that the first aid he usually taught was really paying off.

But when he saw Kiana climb into bed with her a while later, his eyebrows shot up. He placed the Judgment of Shamash greatsword from his back beside him and continued to watch Kiana and the girl with his binoculars. Her safety awareness was too low. How could she sleep with someone without confirming they were safe first? Even though she's a pretty girl, Kiana, you're a pretty girl too!

Sometime later, Ryn woke up and talked with Kiana for a while. Siegfried was already quietly approaching. Through his binoculars, he saw Kiana crying. Siegfried put down the binoculars and raised his greatsword. He covered the several hundred meters in just a few seconds, only to hear that Kiana was crying because of her mother, Cecilia.

The uncle gradually lowered the greatsword in his hands and stood silently outside the door, invisible to Kiana and Ryn. The heavy snow fell, landing on Siegfried. He stood motionless for a long time, finally letting out a sigh before disappearing into the night.

[There won't be identical leaves in the same world, but there can be identical leaves between different worlds. People's personalities and habits may be similar, but their experiences are different. This world's 'Kiana Kaslana' lost her mother, but her father is still alive. My mother is still alive, but I lost my father. Sigh, is this fate...]

————————

The sun was high in the sky, yet it was still very cold. Ryn subconsciously hugged his blanket tighter, but instead of a blanket, he embraced something warm and soft. Subconsciously, he pressed his face against it, nuzzling and nuzzling, and then there was no 'and then'.

BANG—

The wooden cabin instantly had a large hole in it. Ryn flew through the air, rolled N times in the snow, and ended up buried in it.

Didn't even have to dig a grave.

On the bed, Kiana, clutching the blanket with a beet-red face, was shy for two seconds before suddenly panicking. She threw the blanket aside and ran towards Ryn's 'corpse'. Dad had told her that ordinary people's bodies are very fragile, and they had to control their Kaslana monstrous strength when dealing with them, or there would be trouble.

Not far away, Siegfried, who was preparing to roast a Honkai Beast with the Judgment of Shamash, heard the noise. He flung the Assault-class Honkai Beast from his greatsword and ran towards the house, only to see Ryn flying straight out of the house. He thought to himself, oh crap, something's happened.

Halfway there, both Kiana and Siegfried froze, because Ryn stuck a hand out of the snow and then climbed right out. He felt like he had just been hit by a truck going 180 mph, but surprisingly, apart from it hurting a lot, he wasn't injured at all. Wow, this is the power of the Stigmata. Awesome!

Ryn looked up to see Kiana flying towards him. She hugged him tightly, repeatedly crying out that she was sorry. Siegfried, seeing this from a distance, kept repeating in his mind, they're both girls, they're both girls.

"Kiana... you're really strong... I'm fine."

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. I found out you were a boy last night, and then I woke up today and saw you rubbing your face on mine, so I kicked out instinctively."

I helplessly patted the white-haired fuzzball's head, then helped Kiana stand up, brushing the snow off both of us. Then I led her back to the small wooden cabin.

"It's fine, it's fine. If you had kicked me like that yesterday, I might have been a goner. But the me of today, you could kick me a hundred times, and I might even lick back a few times."

"A-are you a pervert?! Just go die! Go die, go die!"
