(I'll say it again, the parts that only involve Otto and not Kallen are just for the author to let everyone know Otto's story. It's not what Kallen told Ryn and Kiana; Ryn and Kiana will not know about Otto's actions and thoughts.)
In the middle of the night, Otto, having dreamt of Void Archives tempting him, woke with a start. Upon waking, he rushed frantically towards the prison without a second thought. He didn't know what the people of Schicksal would do to Kallen!!
But when Otto arrived at Kallen's prison, he found that the Schicksal Overseer was already there.
"Stop being so childish! Once we unlock the secret of the box, we can defeat the Honkai itself. Don't get hung up on the sacrifice of a few people!" the Overseer chided Kallen, but Kallen no longer paid him any attention.
She still wore a sorrowful expression; the light had vanished from Kallen's eyes...
"Lord Overseer!..." Otto approached the Overseer.
The Overseer saw Otto arrive and turned to leave. As he passed Otto, he patted his shoulder and said softly.
"Talk some sense into her. Don't let her keep opposing us. We can't afford to lose the power of the Kaslanas yet."
After the Overseer left, Otto opened the prison door, walked over to the soulless Kallen slumped on the ground, and knelt on one knee to meet her gaze.
But Kallen kept her head down, unwilling to look at Otto... Before Otto arrived, the Overseer had already told Kallen many things...
"Kallen, I'm glad you're okay..." Otto gently stroked Kallen's head. Whenever Kallen was sad, Otto would comfort her like this.
"I'm sorry, in order to defeat the Honkai... the experiments on those girls are necessary."
*Smack!*
Kallen slapped away the hand Otto was stroking her head with.
"You're wrong, Otto. Those girls are the ones I am meant to protect. To protect them from the Honkai...
I am willing to give my own life!!"
Kallen turned her head away, closing her eyes to avoid looking at Otto. She knew she was letting Otto down... but this was the mission she, Kallen Kaslana, had to fulfill.
Looking at the resolute Kallen, Otto seemed to see the Kallen who had cried before Francis's coffin...
It was as if Kallen, just like Francis, would disappear from his sight in order to protect others...
"Don't be ridiculous!!" Losing control of his emotions, Otto grabbed Kallen's hands and pinned her against the corner wall.
"Do you think sacrificing yourself will save the world?!!
Look at what happened to your father! Dead people can't do anything!!"
The moment Otto said those words, Kallen felt her heart shatter... Nothing she had suffered today was as damaging as those words from Otto...
Francis was Kallen's idol and faith, and also the person Otto once admired...
Anyone could insult Francis, but not Otto and Kallen themselves. Because it was Otto's curiosity, it was Otto who had asked Kallen to take him to the battlefield, that led to Francis sacrificing himself to protect the two of them...
"Don't you dare insult my father!!"
Kallen gave Otto a hard slap and shouted at him through her tears.
That slap sobered Otto up. He remembered why Francis had sacrificed himself...
He died using Might of An-Utu to protect him and Kallen...
"I'll find a way to let you and Sasha go, but this experiment must continue."
Otto wiped the corner of his mouth, stood up, and then left the cell.
Both he and Kallen needed to calm down right now...
After Otto left, Kallen slammed shut the cell door that Otto had deliberately left open.
Then Kallen squatted in the corner of the prison, hugging her knees, burying her head between her thighs. Only this way could she feel a sliver of comfort.
She didn't know how much time had passed when a panicked voice called out.
"Big sister!!"
Kallen looked towards the voice. It was Sasha...
Sasha stood outside the cell, calling for Kallen. Seeing Sasha, Kallen bent open the iron bars of the cell and walked out.
"I'm so scared..." The young Sasha threw herself into Kallen's arms, sobbing quietly.
Looking at the crying child in her arms... Kallen finally made up her mind...
"Big sister will take you home right now..."
————————
Soon, Kallen returned Sasha to the flower shop. Sasha's mother held Sasha, and the two cried their hearts out. Watching the mother and daughter weeping in each other's arms, Kallen wanted to cry too, but she held back.
It began to rain from the sky. Kallen walked dejectedly down the street, drenched...
She came to the cemetery, to the grave of her father, Francis Kaslana.
In the past, Otto and Kallen always came to pay respects to Francis together, but when did Otto stop coming?
Kallen silently placed the flowers in her hand to the side. Perhaps this would be the last time she paid respects to her father.
"Watching Sasha and her mother cry tears of joy, I don't think I did anything wrong. But I've realized... what comes next, I can only do alone."
"I will not be lost anymore. A Kaslana must always look forward, no matter what.
Because we are the ones who fight on the front lines, because the Kaslanas are the shield of the people."

In the early morning, sunlight streamed through the cathedral, making the cross inside sparkle.
And before the cross, Otto, Victor, and the Overseer were watching intently as Eleanor used Black Abyss to connect with that black box.
Finally, Eleanor successfully extracted a Honkai crystal from the box. The Overseer held the crystal, shouting excitedly.
"The day has finally come... We will soon unlock the secrets within the box!"
But before the Overseer could celebrate for long, a huge object smashed through the skylight and crashed down, knocking him to the ground. When he came to his senses, he realized it was the dully golden Oath of Judah...
"I won't let you succeed!"
Kallen, her clothes still damp from the rain, leaped down from the sky, landing on Judah. With a click, Judah fully unfurled, revealing the thirteen incomparably sharp golden lances hidden within.
The light that had been shining on the cathedral's cross was now all gathered on the Oath of Judah.
The Judah of now had shed the dust of ages, its entire body radiating a brilliant golden light. The Kaslana family crest at the center of its cross was especially dazzling, shining brightly.
This is the complete Judah, the complete Kallen, the complete me... the Oath of Judah raised its head proudly.

Kallen Kaslana now understood what she had to protect, and Judah would surely respond to Kallen Kaslana's resolve to protect.
