Chapter 100 - Chapter 100: Holy Crap, a Pink-Haired Fox

After getting rid of Yuno, Ryn and Theresa patrolled Senba Academy one more time.

After slaughtering every Honkai Beast they saw, the three of them rested on the rooftop.

Nagazora City was once a city whose lights shone as bright as day, bustling and crowded. But now, there was nothing. All that remained of the massive city were its buildings.

"Tsk, not a single person in such a huge place. It's a little frighteningly quiet," Ryn remarked with a click of his tongue.

Theresa shot Ryn a look and said, "If you go for a stroll around those Honkai Zombies or Honkai Beasts, won't things liven up?"

"Pretend I didn't say anything. When are our reinforcements coming?"

"In three hours. After that, the main forces will arrive and set up a station here. In the future, your practical combat classes will be to come to Nagazora City and hunt Honkai Beasts."

"Alright, let's continue then. We'll slaughter all the powerful Honkai Beasts and leave the weak ones for them to practice on. Judah, let's go."

Ryn tossed away the empty drink can in his hand and leaped off the rooftop. Judah, understanding tacitly, tucked Theresa under its arm and also jumped off the rooftop.

"Damn you, Ryn! I'm not done resting yet!"

Theresa shouted angrily, but she obediently finished the drink in her hand while in Judah's arms, preparing for battle.

After all, it was the Principal's duty to solve problems and handle dangers for the students! How could she let a student like Ryn steal all the glory?

————————

In the end, however, Ryn and Theresa didn't get many kills, because Judah stole them all...

Judah truly lived up to its name as a Herrscher Core-driven Anti-Honkai God-Slaying Armament; the desire for battle was etched into its base logic. With its Power of Binding and Soulium composition, Judah cut down Honkai Beasts as easily as slicing melons and vegetables.

But halfway through, Judah stopped. It retracted all its chains and stared fixedly in one direction.

Noticing something was off with Judah, Ryn walked over, patted it, and asked.

"What's wrong? Is something amiss?"

"There should be a Herrscher over there, but that aura gives me a very familiar feeling." Judah pointed in the direction it was looking. In its perception, an abnormal amount of Honkai energy was emanating from there.

The 11th Divine Key—Oath of Judah was an almost omnipotent Divine Key, capable of changing into different forms and possessing new functions in response to the user's will.

And what allowed Judah to detect the unusual Honkai energy in the distance was its Hunt Mode, which could detect targets within a radius of up to 200 kilometers. It was also by relying on Judah that they had previously detected the unusual Honkai energy emitted by the Pseudo-Herrscher Yuno, allowing Ryn and Theresa to directly confirm their target.

"Then let's go take a look. Judah, be ready to support Theresa at any time."

"Shut up, this Principal is very strong! I don't need support!!" Theresa said defiantly, raising her small fist.

But the next second... Judah first patted Theresa's head, giving her a smile, and then tucked her under its arm again...

"Aaaah... This is too much!" Theresa screamed, on the verge of going crazy.

But Judah didn't care at all, continuing to dash forward with Theresa in tow.

Ryn could see that Judah completely treated Theresa as a child. After all, before its Divine Form Awakening, it had always looked after Theresa like a child.

Now that Judah's Divine Form had awakened, it still cared for Theresa like a child. It's just that the way it showed care in its human form and its cross form looked a little different...

————————

Before the three had gone far, Judah signaled Ryn to slow down and handed him a chain for combat purposes.

"The target's position is changing; it's approaching us at an extremely high speed."

"Five kilometers... four kilometers... two kilometers. Target is visible, entering attack range." Judah sensed the opponent's aura and reported their movements to Ryn and Theresa.

Ryn watched as a streak of pink light rapidly approached. Just as he formed a simulated black hole in his hand, the light had already arrived a short distance in front of him.

The light gradually slowed down, and then Ryn saw an existence he couldn't believe.

It was a beautiful young woman with pink hair, dressed in a simple miko outfit, but with a tachi worn at her waist. Even more surprising were the long, erect pink donkey ears—no, fox ears—on her head.

"Holy crap, Yae Sakura," Ryn exclaimed loudly.

Unlike Ryn's exclamation, Theresa's first reaction upon seeing Yae Sakura was as if she had seen a fatal attack, subconsciously wanting to interrupt or dodge.

Damn it, has playing "Kallen: Sakura Dies Twice" all day created a stereotype in my mind!

Theresa shook her head to clear her thoughts, then gripped the spear that Judah had transformed into, ready to attack at any moment.

But Yae Sakura stopped in front of Judah and did not attack the three of them.

When Yae Sakura rushed over, her face was filled with joy. But after she got close to Judah, she tilted her head and sized it up, her face now full of confusion.

"??? You're not Kallen???" Question marks filled Yae Sakura's head. She had clearly sensed a strong aura of Kallen, which was why she had rushed over. The moment she saw Judah, she thought she had seen Kallen, but when Yae Sakura took a closer look, this wasn't Kallen at all!

"I am not Kallen. I am the Oath of Judah. It's been a long time, Yae Sakura..." Seeing the stunned Yae Sakura, Judah reached out and gently caressed her cheek.

Kallen Kaslana's longing for Yae Sakura had not faded in the slightest even after five hundred years, and it was deeply imprinted on the Oath of Judah, which had accompanied Kallen.

Feeling the deep love and longing coming from Judah, Yae Sakura's eyes turned red. Yae Sakura remembered the Oath of Judah, because it was Kallen's weapon...

"Long time no see... Judah..."

However moved Yae Sakura was to see the Oath of Judah, a certain evil little fox inside her was equally distressed.

A jet-black demon fox materialized beside Yae Sakura, baring its teeth at Judah, and then said to Yae Sakura, "That damned woman, she won't rest in peace even after death. That's not Kallen at all. Have you seen enough to give up? Kallen is already dead. Only I can stay by your side forever!"

The fox demon glanced at Ryn and Theresa, its face full of disdain. The newborn Herrscher had disappeared for some reason, but as long as the Herrscher was gone, it was now invincible!

Little did it know that Ryn had concealed his aura. Unless someone touched him or Ryn actively used his powers, others couldn't detect that he was a Herrscher just by sensing.

As for Theresa... without Judah, she was now a total weakling.
