Gu Wu thought Yu Hu had accidentally hung up and dialed again.
On the other end of the line, a soft and melodious voice answered:
"Hello, the number you are calling is on another call. Please try again later."
Although the voice was pleasant, Gu Wu was in no mood to appreciate it.
Persistently, Gu Wu dialed Yu Hu's number again.
"Hello, the number you are calling is turned off..."
Gu Wu was stunned. This time, the phone had been turned off directly.
"What is Yu Hu doing? Even if he has no solutions, was it necessary to hang up on me?"
Frowning, Gu Wu began to sense something strange in the air.
As expected, another phone rang.

That man was none other than Hei Zi, one of Gu Wu's confidants.

Seeing that someone loyal remained among his subordinates, Gu Wu felt a rare sense of comfort and praised Hei Zi.

"Come, follow me. We'll leave together!"
Saying this, Gu Wu led Hei Zi to the bedroom and opened a wardrobe.

Pressing it, a loud rumble came from the floor.
Under the bed, a secret exit appeared.
"Mr. Wu, how impressive! I had no idea you had this up your sleeve," Hei Zi exclaimed, giving a thumbs-up in admiration.
Years of experience had paid off; no one expected Gu Wu to have prepared an escape tunnel under his own bed.
"Of course. I always knew this day would come, so I dug this tunnel ten years ago."
"I originally hoped I'd never have to use it, but it seems the time has come."
"Hei Zi, don't worry. Although I was caught off guard this time, your Mr. Wu has survived decades in Jinling. Even if I have to leave, I'll live comfortably for the rest of my days. Stay with me, and I assure you, you won't lack anything!"
"Mr. Wu, say no more. You saved my life, and I swear I will never betray you as long as I live."
"Good! Let's go!"
After entering the tunnel, another rumble was heard, and Gu Wu's bedroom returned to its original state, leaving no trace of his departure.
When Axiang arrived at the bar with his team, Gu Wu had already escaped.
"Where is he?"
"They said Gu Wu has always been here and never left. So, where is he now? Where did he go?"
Glaring furiously at the people present, Axiang scolded them harshly.
Based on the information they provided, Axiang had attacked the bar, convinced that Gu Wu was still inside.
Now, with all of Gu Wu's territories taken, only he had escaped. How would Axiang explain this to Li Yun?
"Uncle Xiang, we really saw Gu Wu enter and never leave."
"Yes, we're not lying. We watched his room constantly. After some women left, we didn't see anyone else leave, not even a man."
The spies responsible for surveillance responded in anguish.
"If he didn't leave, and he's not inside, did Gu Wu grow wings and fly?" Axiang replied sarcastically.
What he needed was not excuses but Gu Wu's whereabouts.
"Search everything! Every corner! Check all the cameras. We must find some clue!"
"No matter if you have to dig into the ground, find Gu Wu!"
A man like Gu Wu wouldn't require such mobilization. However, as it was a direct order from Li Yun, Axiang couldn't afford any mistakes.
Half an hour passed, and the cameras revealed nothing.

"Uncle Xiang, we found something on the floor under Gu Wu's bed. There's a tunnel."
After an exhaustive search, finally, a clue emerged.
The tunnel under Gu Wu's room had been discovered by Li Yun's men.
The other end of the tunnel led to a private residence not far from the bar, purchased by Gu Wu as an escape route.
Unfortunately, when Axiang arrived with his team, the house was already empty. Gu Wu had fled without a trace.
"Find him! If you don't locate Gu Wu today, you won't be able to sleep!"
Furious, Axiang ordered his men to search the entire city.
