Chapter 261 - Chapter 261

Standing atop a tall building, Yoruha looked in the direction of Mukade and chuckled, "We don't even need to go looking for him; he's come out on his own."

The intense tremors signaled the imminent appearance of a formidable enemy. Temari had already fully unfolded her fan.

Her strongest technique was the Kamaitachi, a jutsu capable of slicing through an entire forest.

However, she knew that even her most powerful move might not be effective against Mukade. Only Yoruha could take him down, and if even Yoruha couldn't win, then probably no one could.

Temari wasn't familiar with Minato and his team, and she didn't think Minato would be stronger than Yoruha at this moment.

The ancient city of Roran was shaking violently, as if a massive earthquake had struck, causing the ground to crack open.

Numerous buildings collapsed, but fortunately, no one lived in them.

Mukade had driven everyone out of the main city area, and the city's inhabitants were all residing in the suburbs.

This spared Yoruha from having to worry about them.

After a series of rumbling tremors, about a kilometer away from the two, the ground split open, and a colossal puppet over a hundred meters tall burst forth.

The puppet had wings and flew in the air like a giant beetle, its body covered with numerous cannon ports.

This was Mukade's ultimate weapon, the giant puppet he intended to use to conquer the world.

Mukade was seated inside the abdomen of the giant puppet. The puppet's vision was transmitted to several display screens in front of him, akin to piloting a Gundam.

Watching the images of Yoruha and Temari on the screens, Mukade sneered, "Die, you dare come after me? You're courting death." With that, he commanded the giant puppet to fly towards Yoruha and Temari.

Simultaneously, the laser cannons on the giant puppet began to charge energy.

He didn't care if the laser cannons destroyed the city; he had already gained full control of the Dragon Vein and didn't need to worry about such things anymore.

As the giant puppet flew towards them, Yoruha merely remarked calmly, "There's really nothing new here. I expected something unexpected, but it's just an enlarged puppet."

Temari couldn't maintain Yoruha's level of composure. Watching the giant puppet fly towards them like a looming mountain, the impact was overwhelming.

Moreover, they were too close; in the blink of an eye, the giant puppet would be upon them.

Even without using the laser cannons, its massive body alone could destroy everything within a few hundred meters.

Minato and his team, who had arrived, were also somewhat taken aback.

Clearly, Mukade's strength at this moment far surpassed what was depicted in the original story.

The power of this giant puppet was comparable to that of a tailed beast, and the laser cannons on it were likely not much weaker than a Tailed Beast Bomb. If it fired a shot, a third of the city would be obliterated.

Minato didn't have any high-powered jutsu to counter it; the only potential match was the toads from Mount Myoboku.

However, even the toads from Mount Myoboku were only a few dozen meters in size, completely incomparable to the giant puppet.

All were rendered powerless. Minato glanced at Yoruha and noticed that he showed no emotion. "Could it be that he has a solution?"

Recalling Yoruha's earlier actions, Minato speculated that Yoruha might indeed have a way to deal with the giant puppet.

Just as the colossal puppet was about to reach them, Yoruha made his move. With a wave of his hand,

a massive amount of iron sand surged from the ground. The iron sand instantly coalesced into countless gigantic, sharp black rods.

Dozens of these rods, each hundreds of meters long, pierced through the giant puppet in the sky at incredible speed.

"Crack!" "Boom!" In the blink of an eye, the giant puppet that had been flying was impaled by the massive black rods, turning it into a porcupine.

The sheer weight of the rods rendered the puppet incapable of flight, and it crashed heavily to the ground, demolishing dozens of skyscrapers.

Watching the giant puppet—or rather, the giant porcupine—roll hundreds of meters across the ground, everyone was stunned. Could it really be done like this?

Under the destructive force of the black rods, the giant puppet was completely dismantled into shattered parts. Mukade was dumbfounded as he crawled out from the remains of the puppet.

As he emerged, he looked at the heap of parts that was once his giant puppet, a creation he had spent years building, now ruined.

His ambition to conquer the world had ended before it even began. What a joke.

Mukade stared blankly at the scene. He never imagined that everything he meticulously planned could be destroyed so easily. He couldn't accept it.

Clenching his fists, he desperately wanted to tear Yoruha apart.

But what power did he have left to do so? In the next moment, Yoruha appeared before him with Temari.

Yoruha remained expressionless, saying nothing. Temari, standing beside him, spoke, "Mukade, it's time for you to come back with us and face your punishment." Mukade looked up at Yoruha and Temari.

Especially at Yoruha, his gaze filled with hatred. "I really want to kill you, you bastard. Years of planning, ruined by you."

Yoruha replied calmly, "Your plan was naive. Conquering the world is impossible. Such ideas only lead to massive destruction, with no chance of success."

Mukade was enraged that Yoruha dared to question his ambition. "What do you know? With overwhelming power, with the strength to subdue everything, what's so impossible about conquering the world?"

Yoruha chuckled, "Another madman. Why is it that people like you always think you can conquer the world without even understanding the strength of the ninja villages? Dreaming doesn't work like that."

Mukade glared at Yoruha, "How could a fool like you understand me? Only by ruling the entire world can all wars be stopped."

Yoruha knew that people like Mukade would never change their minds. Whether it was possible or right no longer mattered to him.

What he sought was the fulfillment of his ambition, and he would not allow anyone to question it, even if it was just a fantasy.

Yoruha turned to Temari and said, "Looks like he's a stubborn one. I suggest we eliminate him here; taking him back to your village will only cause trouble."

"Of course, the decision is yours." Temari thought for a moment and said, "Hmm, I'll follow your lead."

Although Yoruha asked for her opinion, Temari wasn't someone who acted without thinking; she knew what needed to be done.

Besides, the initial goal of the Sand Village was to eliminate Mukade. In truth, if Temari had chosen to capture Mukade instead of killing him, Yoruha would have respected her decision.

But since Temari decided to kill him, Yoruha had no reservations. With a wave of his hand, a force crushed Mukade's entire body, turning it to ashes.

No matter how he had modified his body, turning to ash meant certain death.
