Temari was witnessing Yoruha use medical ninjutsu for the first time. She had seen Sakura perform medical ninjutsu before, but never as swiftly as Yoruha.
"It seems what you said about being Konoha's top medical ninja is true," Yoruha remarked calmly. "I have no reason to deceive you."
After healing Samui, Yoruha approached Kurotsuchi. The future "Leg Kage," as she was known in his previous life, was already showing signs of her reputation. Her legs were long and straight.
Temari stood beside Yoruha, watching him focus intently on healing Kurotsuchi. This behavior pleased Temari greatly.
Since earlier, she had felt uneasy whenever Yoruha spoke to girls, especially pretty ones.
That's why, when Shion asked for Yoruha's name earlier, Temari answered on his behalf.
Kurotsuchi's legs were indeed perfect, something both Yoruha and Temari could see. She understood that men often found such legs irresistible.
Yet Yoruha managed to remain indifferent, which Temari admired and found comforting. In truth, Yoruha did glance once, silently appreciating them. However, he had no further thoughts.
Kurotsuchi felt a tingling sensation throughout her body as her wounds quickly healed, even her broken bones gradually mending.
She couldn't believe someone could possess such advanced medical ninjutsu. She was well aware that the medical ninjas in Iwagakure were nowhere near this level.
As Yoruha treated her, Kurotsuchi looked up to observe him closely. She was immediately captivated by his appearance.
"Oh my, how did I not notice before? Not only is this guy incredibly powerful, but he's also so handsome?" she thought. "It's unfair how all good things seem to be concentrated in him." (TN: Ah shit here we go again)
Kurotsuchi didn't realize that as she stared intently at Yoruha, her face turned red.
This made Temari, standing nearby, quite uncomfortable. If Yoruha hadn't been so focused on treating Kurotsuchi, Temari would have surely stepped in front of him.
Meanwhile, the healed Samui rubbed her shoulder and walked over.
"Thank you, Konoha ninja. Your medical ninjutsu is far superior to that of our village's medical ninjas. If it weren't for you, I might have died here,"
Samui said, without any ulterior motives, simply acknowledging Yoruha's exceptional medical skills and strength.
She didn't recognize Yoruha as the boy she had a misunderstanding with three years ago. As she approached, Temari glanced at Samui's striking figure, then looked down at her own, feeling a sense of defeat.
With her blonde hair, blue eyes, great figure, fair skin, and stunning looks, Temari felt she fell short in comparison.
Fortunately, Yoruha hadn't spared Samui a second glance when he saved her, indicating he had no interest in her.
"Kurotsuchi is the real threat," Temari concluded, dismissing Samui as a competitor and focusing on Kurotsuchi as her rival.
In less than a minute, Yoruha had finished healing Kurotsuchi. She stood up, testing her body, and exclaimed joyfully, "I'm completely healed! Konoha ninja, your medical skills are amazing!"
Kurotsuchi looked at Yoruha with admiration. With his formidable strength, exceptional medical ninjutsu, and handsome appearance, Kurotsuchi found him irresistible.
After healing Kurotsuchi, Yoruha made his way to Shion. By this time, the guardians of the Land of Demons had arrived, surrounding Shion.
Shion sat on her throne and smiled as she saw Yoruha approach. "Lord Yoruha, when are we heading to the Land of Marsh?" she asked. Previously, Shion had been terrified of going to the Land of Marsh, fearing it would be a death sentence.
But now, perhaps influenced by Yoruha's confidence, she felt there was a good chance they could seal the demon Moryo this time.
Yoruha thought for a moment and said, "Rest for another day." "By then, I'll escort you with a few other ninja."
Shion didn't argue and agreed with a smile. She trusted Yoruha's words, perhaps because of his strength, perhaps because he had saved her life.
Or maybe it was because Yoruha was the only man she couldn't see through.
After chatting with Shion for a bit, she arranged accommodations for him. Initially, she hoped Yoruha would stay by her side, but Yoruha assured her he would be nearby and could come to her aid at any moment.
Temari also explained that he could provide support at any time.
Shion understood that Yoruha was politely declining, so she didn't insist.
She arranged for him to stay in a residence next to her chambers. Once he reached his quarters, Yoruha went straight to rest.
The reason he suggested Shion rest for another day before heading out was that she had just experienced an assassination attempt and was mentally unsettled.
Attempting to seal Moryo in such a state would be ineffective. Besides, Yoruha could use space-time ninjutsu to instantly transport her to the Land of Marsh, so there was no need to rush.
Just a few minutes after lying down, there was a knock on the door.
Temari's voice came from outside. "Yoruha, can I come in?" Yoruha sat on the edge of the bed, feeling a bit helpless.
But he still said, "Please, come in." Temari walked in, and as Yoruha looked up, he noticed Kurotsuchi and Samui following behind her.
"Going to bed this early?" Temari remarked upon seeing Yoruha sitting on the bed. As Temari spoke, Kurotsuchi and Samui found places to sit down.
With three beautiful women sitting in front of him, any other man would be thrilled.
Yet Yoruha felt no waves in his heart, only curiosity about what the three wanted.
Kurotsuchi had been staring at Yoruha since he saved her earlier, something Yoruha had grown accustomed to.
Samui was also staring at him now, a puzzled look on her face as if trying to recall something.
Yoruha sat on the bed while the three sat on the floor, cushioned by mats. This elevated position made them seem like Yoruha's attendants.
Yoruha looked at Temari and asked, "Is there something you need?"
Temari thought for a moment and said, "Yoruha, are you really confident you can seal the demon Moryo?" Yoruha was taken aback.
"It's the priestess who will seal it. I wouldn't know about that." But Temari continued, "I doubt the priestess can succeed. She might not be as strong as her mother was."
"If she fails, I think you might be able to seal that demon, right?" Temari's words surprised Kurotsuchi and Samui. They knew Yoruha was strong, but Moryo was a world-destroying demon, only historically sealed by priestesses.
Temari suggesting Yoruha could seal it—what a joke! But Temari wasn't joking. She was serious.
She truly believed Yoruha had the capability. Yoruha didn't respond for a long time. Kurotsuchi and Samui watched him, surprised that he hesitated.
Could he really have the power to seal Moryo?
