Chapter 281 - Chapter 281

Yoruha pulled Shion out, saving her from Moryo's grasp. Moryo didn't let this opportunity slip by.

Dozens of black tentacles surged from the magma lake, all aiming to pierce Yoruha and Shion.

Shion wanted to use her priestess powers to fend them off, but Yoruha, watching the tentacles coming at him, remained expressionless and spoke calmly,

"It seems you quite enjoy soaking in this magma. Since you like flames so much, why not try mine?"

Shion didn't understand what Yoruha meant by that. In the next moment, countless tentacles shot towards Yoruha and Shion from all directions.

Just as Shion was about to unleash her priestess powers, Yoruha raised two fingers with his other hand.

"Fire Style: Phoenix Flame." With a hum, a massive firebird, tens of meters in size, materialized in front of Yoruha.

The flames on the firebird were a deep crimson, distorting the surrounding space with their intense heat. Moryo was given no time to react.

The firebird flew towards Moryo, and everything fell silent. A vacuum appeared in the magma lake where Moryo's body had been.

Moryo's body and the surrounding magma vanished without a trace. When Shion realized what had happened, she covered her mouth in shock.

"Moryo, is dead?!" Shion was stunned by the rapid change, unable to comprehend what had just occurred. Yoruha, however, remained calm.

In the next moment, they disappeared from the air and reappeared at the entrance of the magma lake.

Looking at the empty spot where Moryo's body had been, it was truly gone, or perhaps already dead. Shion turned to Yoruha, "Mr. Yoruha, what just happened?"

Yoruha smiled and said, "I noticed the priestess didn't seem eager to use her powers, so I gave you a hand. You won't have to worry about the demon's harassment anymore." Shion indeed couldn't sense Moryo's presence anymore.

But what exactly happened? Did Yoruha really take down Moryo? Just with a single Fire Style? What a joke! If Shion knew that Yoruha's Fire Style was an S-rank technique, she wouldn't have said that.

It was a terrifying Fire Style jutsu that even space struggled to withstand, capable of erasing the opponent along with their soul.

After using it once, Yoruha dared not use it lightly again. Shion actually thought it was just an ordinary Fire Style. With the matter resolved, Yoruha said, "Priestess, since everything is settled, I should escort you back."

Without waiting for Shion to respond, they returned to Shion's room. Meanwhile, across the world, the undead army had turned into mere stone, losing all mobility.

The ninjas from various countries, who were trying to stop the undead army, were astonished.

Though they didn't know what had happened, they cheered, relieved to have narrowly escaped disaster.

The undead army was indeed troublesome; as long as Moryo lived, they could always resurrect. In a prolonged battle, the ninjas would surely be the ones to fall.

However, the Kage of each village found it strange. This time, the undead army was entirely different from when Moryo was previously sealed.

Back then, after Moryo was sealed, the terracotta soldiers of the undead army would crumble into mounds of earth.

The truth was that the Moryo had been completely annihilated this time, along with its soul. As a result, the undead army turned into ordinary terracotta warriors.

Shion never expected things to end this way. She thought she would have to sacrifice her life to seal Moryo. Yoruha's power had far exceeded her imagination.

The formidable power of Moryo, which required a priestess's strength to seal, was wiped out by a single jutsu from Yoruha.

Even its soul was erased, making Moryo's immortality seem like a joke in front of him. And the time they spent going out and coming back didn't even exceed an hour.

Without alerting anyone, the matter was resolved, and the world-destroying monster disappeared from this world in such an awkward manner.

Shion looked at Yoruha and curiously asked, "Lord Yoruha, is it really dead?"

Yoruha smiled and replied, "Rest assured, Lady Priestess, it's completely dead. Both its body and soul have been erased, so you won't have to worry about sacrificing your life to seal it in the future."

Shion didn't respond for a long time, her gaze at Yoruha full of complexity. Yoruha didn't continue the conversation with Shion.

He said, "Since it's over, I'll be leaving now." Shion wanted to say something but ultimately didn't, silently nodding. Yoruha smiled and then vanished from the room.

However, Yoruha didn't return immediately. After Temari, Kurotsuchi, and Samui woke up, they were brought before Shion by her subordinates.

The three were still puzzled about why Shion had called them. Was it to postpone the plan?

But when the three stood before Shion, they didn't see Yoruha.

Just as Temari was about to ask, Shion spoke first, "Ladies, the matter has been resolved. Moryo has been killed, and you may return." The three were all puzzled upon hearing this news.

Temari thought of something. "Lady Priestess, was it Yoruha who did it?" Among the three, only Temari wasn't very shocked; she suspected that Moryo's death was related to Yoruha.

Shion looked at Temari, somewhat surprised, "Miss Temari seems to know Lord Yoruha quite well?"

Temari noticed the change in how Shion addressed Yoruha, finally confirming that it was indeed Yoruha's doing. She must have witnessed Yoruha's strength, hence the change in address.

Meanwhile, Kurotsuchi and Samui were still confused. Samui frowned and said, "What's going on? Lady Priestess, Temari, stop speaking in riddles."

Kurotsuchi nodded, agreeing with Samui. Temari remained silent, and Shion gave Temari a deep look before explaining, "This morning, Lord Yoruha already took me to the Land of Swamps to eliminate Moryo."

As soon as Shion finished speaking, Kurotsuchi looked bewildered, "Lady Shion, are you still dreaming? The Land of Demons is thousands of kilometers away from the Land of Swamps."

Temari wasn't surprised at all; she knew Yoruha could use the Flying Thunder God Technique, but she didn't know the teleportation range could be that far.

Did he not need to set coordinates for such a long distance?

Samui had the same thought as Kurotsuchi. Although she knew Yoruha could use the Flying Thunder God Technique, the fact that Yoruha could teleport thousands of kilometers was beyond her understanding.

There was only one explanation: Yoruha had set up coordinates in the Land of Swamps in advance. Now Samui recognized Yoruha as the one who saw her and Yugito Nii three years ago.

Although she felt a bit embarrassed, she didn't expect Yoruha to still be so powerful.

Shion looked at Kurotsuchi and Samui, mainly explaining for their sake. She could tell that Temari seemed quite familiar with Yoruha.

When she mentioned that she and Yoruha went to the Land of Swamps to deal with Moryo, among the three, only Temari showed no sign of surprise.
