Phase Four --- Live Pulse Run
They spread out, falling into two parallel lines across the valley. Ava led the front, Kael at her right flank, Theo anchoring the rear, Alyssa and Lyra central, Brian left defense, Zephyr covering mid-flank mobility. The formation was designed for flexibility — every angle covered, every movement calculated.
> "Activating pulse run sequence," Cream Puff announced. "Environmental resonance will fluctuate at random intervals. Objective — maintain formation integrity for the duration."
Ava's tone was clipped. "Acknowledged. Initiate."
The ground lit up in sharp bursts, rhythm irregular. Each pulse created a short wave of force that tried to knock them off balance.
Zephyr darted between gaps, redirecting smaller waves away from the formation. "Feels like running through a thunderstorm."
Brian countered an incoming shockwave with his shield. "A thunderstorm made of pure pain."
