That small detail gave Sienna some reassurance.

The evacuation took almost an entire day.

Everyone was exhausted by the end of it.

The slaves had accumulated many belongings during their time at the fortress. Most of those things were not valuable in the eyes of an aristocrat, but that was not how the slaves viewed them.

A blanket.

A cooking pot.

A piece of furniture.

A set of clothes.

A few personal possessions.

These things represented a life they had never been allowed to have before.

They were unwilling to simply throw them away.

Sienna understood that.

So even though it made the evacuation slower, she allowed them to bring as much as they reasonably could.

After a frantic night of work, everything important had finally been moved into the Spatial Farm.

By early morning, Iron Mountain Fortress had been emptied.

Sienna then released the undead.
