Chapter 123 - Pain

{ Leo }

I winced as boss jabbed the same knife in my other leg I could feel the blood oozing out but I dared not make a sound.

' last time... 'I shivered . ' Adrien... He just yelped once and...' My body shook violently a mix of old memories and the pain being inflicted on me I had hoped the tutor excuse would've worked I choked inwardly but boss was too smart... ' I should've known... I shouldn't have messed with this Mia...'

" B-Boss.. P-Please —"

Before I could finish he grabbed my neck and spoke his face dark.

" If you tell me... I'll consider letting you live..."

I gulped... ' should I tell him the truth? Or should I just let him kill me...'

I winced as the knife pressed against my thigh again, blood seeping down. My body shook violently, a mix of past fear and present pain.

"B-Boss… please…" I whispered, voice trembling.

Enzo's eyes burned into me. "Truth. NOW!"

I gulped, swallowing the lump in my throat. "I… I messed up. I… I shouldn't have gone there… I'm not proud of it… but… I barely walked out of that room…"

My words hung in the air, heavy with shame and fear. I dared not say more.

Boss's hand tightened around my neck. "Anything else?"

I shook my head weakly, already regretting opening my mouth.

Boss's face burned with rage slowly he raised his head eyes staring into nothing as if considering what to do then, his eyes lit up.

" You don't deserve a quick death..." He whispered raising his hand.

My stomach dropped. ' quick death? Wait... So I'm going to die?' I asked in my head my body shivering. Every nerve screamed in anticipation, every inch of me ready for pain…

And then—silence.

I blinked, my breath catching as I opened my eyes only to see boss on his phone his face serious he turned to me his smile widening.

" Remember Adrien?" He asked smirking wickedly.

I gulped taking a deep breath.

" Boss please I'll never do that again... Please just—"

He just held up a finger silencing me. " Raven I have a task for you..."

*2 minutes later*

After waiting for what felt like hours Raven knocked on the door. A shiver crawled up my spine, knowing boss, this wasn't going to be an easy end.

{ Enzo }

Anger welled up in my chest. ' why didn't she tell me... What if she got hurt...'

All kinds of questions swirled in my head nonstop before entering my room.

As soon as I stepped inside something felt...off the way the blanket was so strangely ruffled up on my desk... It didn't feel like she was there... My heart raced but then, a thought struck my head. ' she's definitely in the bathroom again...'

I rushed to the bathroom knocking on the door until my hands bled. Having enough I barged inside to find it... Empty ?

My heart raced. " Where did she go ? I locked the door... She's always limping..."

I quickly pulled out my phone almost dropping it. " Find her now! Blond hair... Blue eyes OR brown hair brown eyes..."

" Two girls ?"

I sighed." No one girl might be wearing wig and contacts..." I said quickly.

" Name ? Age ?"

" Mia... She's 16 that's all I know...."

I said shutting off the call pacing in my room.

' where could she have gone....'

Then it hit me ' the cameras!' I rushed to the computer bringing up the footage.

" Shit!" I yelled yeeting the keyboard across the room. " She f***ing erased the footage!" I groaned taking my gun and shooting the screen.

" Is the traitor still alive?" I asked Raven my breath uneven.

" No..." He whispered his voice shaking.

Without a second thought I burst out of my room marching straight to the torture chamber.

" Leave." I ordered Raven seeing him taking care of Leo's wounds.

" But sir he can't handle more he'll die hi—"

" Leave!" I groaned. " Or you'll be next..." I whispered my eyes turning red and all the anger bubbled up and my hands trembled.

I watched as raven stumbled out of the room his face visibly shaken.

I turned to Leo eyes glowing now his body trembled as I stepped closer. Blood had already soaked through the side of his pants where the knife had cut into his thigh, the wound ragged and deep, dark red seeping down toward his knee. His other leg bore similar marks, crimson streaks marring his skin, swollen and bruised from repeated jabs.

His chest was welted, angry red lines crisscrossing the skin, proof of the blunt-force blows he'd endured. One shoulder was cut, a shallow but wide gash with the edges puckered, still oozing blood. Every movement made him wince, muscles twitching involuntarily from shock and pain. His face was pale, sweat mixing with streaks of dried blood, and his lips trembled as he tried to breathe steadily.

It was clear he had barely survived the punishment—each injury a reminder of just how close he had come to death.

" B-Boss please... No more knives..." He whispered weakly.

I smiled a deep cruel smile plastered on my face.

" Good news... No more knifes..." I chuckled shaking my head.

I cracked my fists seeing the look of relief on Leo's face.

[Warning: Extremely violent scene]

My eyes burned red, every muscle in my body coiled like a predator. Mia… she had gone. And Leo was here. All of my frustration, all of my rage, poured into this small, trembling man.

I saw Leo's chest rise and fall in quick, shallow gasps, blood streaking from his torn clothing. His thigh wound had darkened the fabric, his face pale, lips trembling.

I cracked my first fist. Leo's eyes widened as the first strike slammed into his jaw, a sickening crack echoing in the room. Blood spurted from the corner of his mouth, staining my hand. I grinned.

I didn't stop. My fists rained down with calculated fury, hammering his chest, stomach, and ribs. Each hit made him flinch, a strangled cry escaping his lips. His body shook uncontrollably, bruises darkening with every strike, his breaths ragged and broken.

Another punch—this one to the face—and his nose burst, blood spraying in a warm, sticky arc. I could see the shock in his eyes, the fear. The pain. It was perfect.

"Where is she, Leo?" I growled between punches, savoring the wet sound of impact, the way his body slumped and twitched under my fists. My rage fed on his suffering.

I pummeled him again, chest, ribs, thighs, everywhere I could land. He keeled over, coughing blood, groaning, barely clinging to consciousness. Sweat and blood mixed on his skin, matted hair plastered to his forehead.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he went limp. His head lolled to the side, blood dripping from his mouth, wounds dark and deep. I stared down at him, breathing hard, fists shaking, a cruel satisfaction curling in my chest.

I let him slide to the floor, silent now, lifeless. My hands were red, trembling, but I felt… justice. Mia had escaped. Leo had paid.

"Clean this mess," I ordered the staff, voice cold and sharp. "Now."

Without a second glance, I turned and walked back up to my room, leaving the aftermath behind—the smell of blood and fear hanging heavy in the air.
