Finally, after picking up the last pink wool block, the Quest Ram lifted its head with a satisfied bleat.
Its body had already stretched to over ten meters in length.
It looked rather bizarre.
But Klee and Nahida only found it amusing, as if they were watching a grand magic performance.
They clapped their hands in delight.
The Quest Ram cast a kind glance at Ningguang, lowered its head, dropped a huge pile of items, then leisurely turned away and disappeared into the trees.
It took more than ten seconds before it fully vanished.
Seeing this, Ryen finally couldn't hold back his complaint.
"I just don't get it… what's the point of this dumb sheep being so long? And it doesn't even drop meat."
Hearing that, everyone found it rather funny.
"This must be a sheep's sense of aesthetics."
Ningguang chuckled softly behind her hand, then looked down at the items on the ground.
Just as Ryen said—
The Quest Ram's loot: iron blocks, gold blocks, lapis lazuli blocks, diamond blocks, emerald blocks…
None of these really mattered to the group—they had plenty of resources already.
But Ayaka actually needed them, so after asking everyone, she gathered them up.
Other than that, the most notable item was the Crumble Horn lying on the ground.
Albedo stepped forward, picked it up, and examined it carefully for a while.
"Any discoveries?"
Ryen asked softly.
Albedo shook his head.
"Alchemy is suppressed in this world. I can only tell that this item indeed carries traces of law, but nothing more."
"We'll study it once we're back."
In the past, if he found a treasure with such strong traces of law, Albedo would have spent a huge amount of time researching it.
But now…
His alchemy workshop was already filled with things like this.
His horizons had broadened, and such finds no longer impressed him much.
"Shall we continue on?"
Lisa asked softly.
Ryen shrugged.
"If I said we should stay here and rest, you wouldn't agree anyway, right?"
Lisa shot him a look and replied gently,
"You've already got a staff, but we still don't!"
Ryen laughed awkwardly.
"Then let's move on—search for the Lich Tower. Even if we don't find the Druid Mage, at least we'll have the Twilight Lich's Staff as a guaranteed reward."
The group set out once again, this time fully prepared for battle.
The Lich Tower would never be found in safe places like the Magic Forest.
Heading there would mean a great battle for sure.
Ryen also equipped Klee and the others with top-tier Enchanted Diamond Armor.
The Enchanted Forest wasn't that big. They just had to choose a direction and keep going.
Soon enough, they passed through the Enchanted Forest. This time, their chosen route led into the very place where they had previously encountered the Nagas and the Druid Mage.
It hadn't been thoroughly explored yet, and inside was a Moon Dial.
Though that thing was practically useless, Albedo's specialty was exactly that—turning scraps into something valuable.
Give him something that looked worthless, and who knew what he might turn it into.
Of course, what mattered more to Lisa and the others was—what if another Druid Mage showed up this time?
Seeing everyone's eager faces, Ryen thought for a moment, then decided to give them a heads-up.
"I'll say this in advance."
Leading the way, Ryen spoke in a low voice:
"A Druid Mage might not appear in the same area. That thing is still quite rare."
"Well, nothing in this world is absolute!"
Hu Tao walked alongside him with her hands clasped behind her back, grinning.
"Did you ever imagine that something like a Druid Mage would even exist in this world?"
Ryen rolled his eyes.
"This situation is different… Anyway, if you don't find one, don't blame me for not warning you."
"It's not like we're only exploring here," Hu Tao waved her hand casually. "We'll be going to all sorts of places. If it's not here, we'll just find one elsewhere sooner or later!"
Ryen gave a faint nod.
"In that case…"
Before he could finish, a seed brimming with pure green energy suddenly shot straight toward him.
Ryen's eyes narrowed. He instantly pulled back to dodge.
"See? See!" Hu Tao's eyes lit up with excitement.
"Isn't this exactly a Druid Mage showing up?"
At her words, Ryen lifted his gaze. From within the thicket, a skeleton wobbled into sight, clutching a hoe, its whole body shrouded in tattered green armor.
Ryen rolled his eyes again.
"It's just a Skeleton Druid. It won't drop a staff! You guys are celebrating way too early."
"Though it will drop torchberries, which count as resources we need."
"Take it out."
He shook his head, uninterested, making no move to attack.
At that, the others looked a bit disappointed, but still raised their firearms.
Yet before they could fire, the undergrowth rustled again.
From the darkness, a pair of glowing green eyes lit up.
And then—what drew everyone's attention was a staff radiating an icy-blue glow, shimmering faintly in the gloom.
Their gazes instantly burned with excitement.
Hu Tao poked Ryen in the waist, smiling mischievously.
"So… this is just another Skeleton Druid, huh?"
Ryen's expression turned complicated. He pressed his lips together, and after a long pause, finally muttered:
"What the hell… This makes no sense at all!!!"
