Chapter 484 - 484: Makoto’s March to Inazuma

"Impact? What impact?" The Cryo Archon said lightly. "At the end of the day, my plan is just to overthrow Celestia."

"Overthrowing it works the same in any case. Besides, now with your world involved, our success rate is even higher."

"There's no need to stick to my original plan, which wasn't very likely to succeed anyway."

"If these Gnosis aren't used according to my design, they're just a burden to us."

"I had thought of returning the Gnosis to Zhongli and Venti, but they didn't want them."

"If you're willing to accept them, it would actually help us solve a big problem."

With that, the Cryo Archon took out three Gnosis and handed them to Ryen.

The movement caught Zhongli and the others' attention.

But seeing that the Cryo Archon was giving the Gnosis to Ryen, Zhongli just shook his head and said nothing.

Probably, Ryen saw their immense divine power and thought his Delusion wasn't enough.

Gnosis or not, it didn't matter—he was fine using them as toys.

After all, he would never take that thing seriously again.

"Hehe!"

Venti came over cheerfully, watching Ryen's curious gaze at the Gnosis, teasing:

"Could it be… you want to be the god of three nations? I fully support you! As long as you nod, I can step down right now!"

Diluc, standing nearby, frowned and said:

"With your situation now, stepping down isn't really any different."

"Not different?!" Venti protested righteously.

"At least I haven't stepped down like the old man! I had actually planned to take the Gnosis back later and let Jean become the new Anemo Archon."

"However, if Ryen as Anemo Archon favors Mondstadt a bit, I think that's fine too!"

Jean looked completely bewildered.

"Let me be the Anemo Archon? No way, no way!"

Venti giggled but didn't answer.

Ryen holding the Gnosis was just a toy; he certainly wouldn't take the position of Anemo Archon.

Venti was only joking.

Ultimately, he still planned for Jean to take up the Archon position.

Ryen didn't care about all this. With the Gnosis in hand, he felt the immense elemental power ready to burst.

Far beyond the quantity and quality of the Delusion.

It looked like he could finally study and design all sorts of abilities for himself.

Although, sadly, he still didn't actually have much elemental power on his own.

Ryen put the Gnosis away. Learning to properly use them would require Zhongli and the others' guidance.

But now, Ryen already had a new pursuit!

A God's Eye?

Pfft. The Gnosis were far more thrilling!

He would inherit the Cryo Archon's mission and collect all seven Gnosis!

The meaning of life was in the pursuit.

Ryen finally understood.

Meanwhile, Zhongli spoke seriously, explaining everything to Azhdaha: from events five hundred years ago, to the recent changes in Liyue, and the mysteries of that other world.

Azhdaha had many questions and was shocked, but he didn't interrupt Zhongli.

He just kept all these doubts in mind.

It seemed that at least half a day of explanations was needed, and later, he would have to personally visit that other world to see for himself.

No matter what, Azhdaha's return meant that the alliance rebelling against Celestia had grown stronger again, and a top-tier fighter had been added.

This was good news.

Makoto looked at Azhdaha, thought for a moment, and felt a bit anxious to return to Inazuma.

The situation in Inazuma couldn't be delayed any longer, and if they didn't quickly join the alliance, it would be hard to catch up later.

Ryen had already mentioned that in the next few days, they would finish clearing the last of the Twilight Forest, then launch the new mod, allowing people to move in and start developing the forest.

For those who had already joined and had a foundation, it was just a matter of scheduling.

But for Inazuma, it was a long process.

They still needed training.

Thinking this through, Makoto exchanged a glance with Yae Miko, then stood and walked over to Ryen.

"Ryen, we have to take our leave first."

Ryen was slightly surprised and curiously asked:

"Leaving already? Not going to look around a bit more?"

Makoto shook her head, sighing:

"The situation in Inazuma cannot be delayed. Every second we wait, the people suffer another second."

"I need to quickly stabilize Inazuma and then bring it into the alliance."

Hearing this, Ryen nodded slightly and said softly:

"Fair enough. I won't keep you then. Safe travels. Lumine, are you going too?"

Lumine immediately stood, her expression serious:

"Of course! Every task should be finished! I promised Ayaka that I'd resolve Inazuma's situation. Even if I'm not needed much, I'll see it through!"

Yae Miko smiled softly.

"The little one has been a big help…"

Lumine proudly lifted her head.

"I am the invincible Traveler!"

"By the way, Ryen, don't go too fast this time! Wait for me! Don't let me fall behind!"

Ryen shrugged.

"I can't make any promises, but I'll try."

"Since you're going with Makoto this time, it shouldn't take long. With her there, resolving Inazuma's situation will be simple."

Lumine thought for a moment and nodded.

"That makes sense…"

"But even for your world, a day or two can bring huge changes."

"Anyway, don't start the new mod while I'm not there, okay?"
