Chapter 82 - Pt. 10: 81: News For the Couple

"Really now? I thought mated and marked couple around werewolves could feel each other, so how come you didn't know that your mate had been bitten by a nomadic vampire for quite some time already?" Skylar went blunt and informed the man about his partner's betrayal.

"She's lying…" the woman defended, but the man glared at her.

"Is that the reason why you're scent changed? You had been cheating on me?" he spat, growling already. He knew her betrayal, and Skylar liked how it unfolded.

"YOU! YOU'RE RUINING EVERYTHING!" The woman shouted at her and tried to attack her, but Skylar easily stepped away, dodging her reckless attempts until she felt Vincencio's presence behind her.

"Can you stop blaming me and just blame yourself for the wrongdoings you have done?" Skylar sarcastically said, making Vincencio chuckle while shaking his head.

"YOU'RE GOING TO PAY!" the woman shouted and recklessly attacked her again.

'You're provoking her.'

"Well, at least, I got the prey we needed." Skylar telepathically responded to him before turning to the man while blocking her attack and asked. "You, tell me what you want me to do to her?"

"She's nothing to me anymore. I'm glad we're not married to strengthen the bond even more." He said coldly but in pain before confirming the rejection, "I'm rejecting you now. You're no longer my mate. You don't deserve me anymore."

"NO!" the woman screamed in pain, halting her attacks.

"Do whatever you want." The man said and walked away before helping the injured pack members.

"My pleasure." Skylar chuckled before turning to Vincencio. "Hubby, where's your pack's cell?"

"Basement." He replied, smirking and ignoring a disbelief reaction from the rest of the pack members.

"Lovely. See you before midnight." She grinned, cracking her fingertips.

"Hey, I can watch, you know," Vincencio said, grinning at his wife.

"Then be my guest of honor." She chuckled before she looked at the woman and walked past her. "Take her with us."

"Finally, something to do tonight." He chuckled and grabbed the woman's collar before following his wife, making the captured traitor scream for help, but nobody dared to help a traitor.

In the basement, there were two empty cells, and they were both clean, but not until the traitor had been chained. She was wiggling, screaming to set her free, but the couple didn't listen because at the moment, they weren't just a werewolf or an awakened vampire; they were lethally dangerous to get entangled with, and the traitor would be the first one who would taste it.

"Hubby, you can start. I'll just gear up," Skylar said as she tied her hair up, making Vincencio halt and look at her.

"Gear up? You don't need that here." Vincencio said, making his wife giggle sweetly to his ears but sinister to the captive traitor.

"I mean, gloves up." She corrected herself, giggling while wearing her bloody red gloves that she usually used whenever she tormented somebody for information.

"The guards already prepared the toys," he informed while staring coldly at the traitor before asking, "Which one do you want to start on using?"

"I do just fine on my own. You go ahead first." She answered while she pulled out her phone to activate something she had left around the pack's perimeter before watching her husband play first.

Vincencio gave the woman a heavy beating for an hour, but she was a werewolf, meaning she would heal, but that didn't stop him from inflicting pain. Vincencio's family came to check them.

"How are you two in here?" Jake asked, but stopped his tracks mid-way inside the cell. They saw how their son beat the traitor without remorse.

"We're doing great here," Skylar answered coldly and grimly when she started feeling bored.

With a sinister grin, Skylar decided to tap her husband for her turn. Vincencio was not done, but feeling her dangerous aura, he held back and let her take over. When she stepped in front of the healing woman, she began to cower in fear. She was afraid of Skylar's presence because her vampire side was kicking in, and the next thing the woman felt was a needle pressed on her thigh.

"What did you just inject in me?" the traitor asked, quivering on the chain.

"Silver? Wolfsbane? FRSil? Or perhaps both, I'm not sure though." Skylar sinisterly replied as her eyes went empty, making the woman cower in fear.

"You're kidding, right…argh…" she said, but started groaning as the serum began taking effect on her body.

"Oh, it's taking effect already." She chuckled at how her prey squirmed on her spot. "That's fast."

"WHAT DID YOU INJECT IN ME?!" the woman roared, but she only received a hard slap, making her bleed.

"Something for you to confess when asked." Skylar answered coldly, but getting darker before adding, "It's not truth serum, but worse if not used well."

"FRSil…" she weakly mumbled, but something else was making the woman weak and not healing.

"Correct, but at the same time not. I had silver and wolfsbane, which had been keeping me protected for the likes of you." She chuckled as she showed the syringe with a little silver and wolfsbane in it. The woman squirmed more, but Skylar snapped her fingertips, making the chain surprisingly tight, choking her a little.

"Wifey, don't sugarcoat it, even Shana cowers when you're in your zone." Vincencio scoffed.

"Shut up, Hubby, unless you want to take her place." She coldly said, making him raise his hands and let his wife continue. "So, where are we? Ah, where's Rudolf Strange?"

"I don't know." She trembled as she replied.

"Lies." Skylar was not buying it and stabbed her with her own blade, which was good against werewolves.

"I DON'T KNOW!" She screamed before whimpering as she confessed who the nomad was to her. "He just came to me and fuck me hard. It's addictive and leaves money on the table. I didn't even realize what I've become to him, and I can't stop."

"Ah, he's using you to spy on the packs…now, he won't be coming to save you…" She quickly concluded what Rudolf was doing to the woman. She smelled it to the venom in her veins, everything she needed to know about the nomad and the connection to the man she was equal with.

"He…" She was about to defend the man, but Skylar wiped her mouth with her blade before cutting her tongue, slitting her throat, and stabbing her eyes, blinding her. The woman squirmed more from the pain she was in.

"Don't expect an obsessed nomad to fall for you. He's waiting for a crack, and it's not you but someone else." She ruthlessly whispered, taunting, manipulating, but venomous before adding, "Sadly, it won't come, but he will. Soon."

Skylar swung her another blade, a sword, and slashed the woman's head off, neatly. The blood splattered, and she was not done as she carved something on her body. A mark that speaks about her betrayal and addiction to sex and money, and when she felt done, she laughed.

"Oh boy, this is fun hunting." "Hubby, throw this body three hundred yards away from the pack's perimeter, east. The rest of the rogues with her will receive the message on her body."

"Message?" Xian wondered while Shana hid behind him.

"Nobody messes with what's mine, and since your son belongs to me, everything he cares about does, too." Skylar grinned with darkness before softening around Vincencio, "And another thing, Hubby, he's connected to him, Boss Rico, the Master of the SR Federation. Though I'm not sure what connection they had, it's deep and bloody."

"No wonder he's not been calling me lately. He might have encountered something dangerous against that Rudolf." Vincencio said as he helped his wife wipe the blood on her face.

"Let's pay him a visit then." She sweetly grinned, making him smile with a sigh.

"Should I call him?" he wondered, but Skylar shook her head.

"No, I bet he…" She said, but was cut off when her phone rang, and it's Medina. "Yes, Beta?"

'Company is shaken.'

"Hubby, it's starting, and the company is affected." Skylar telepathically said to him before responding to the call, but she got dizzy, "We're on the way…"

'Boss?'

"I'm fine, just got dizzy. I'll hang up. Keep recording, and nobody moves until I say so." She firmly commanded as she leaned on Vincencio's arms.

'Affirmative.'

"Wifey…" He whispered worriedly.

"Call her…call, Aletia Eztli…now…" Skylar mumbled weakly as her sight turned dark.

"WIFEY!" he shouted as Skylar collapsed in his arms.

"Call her now…" She telepathically one more time before she fully lost her consciousness and went to sleep.

It was only a matter of seconds when Skylar felt a hand on her hand, she knew the smell of the cold hand above her. It was Aletia Eztli Monsour and her blood relative who had something to do with her sealed memory before.

"Aunty, what changes are happening to me?" Skylar quickly asked as soon as she opened her eyes. Vincencio kissed her temple and helped her sit up before running downstairs to get something for her to drink.

"Well, you're body is adjusting, but I hope you keep your bloody hunt at bay and prevent yourself from stress at least for two months to be sure." Aletia Eztli said, composed like any doctor would be, but she was happy for her.

"I'm a boss, and Luna, I'll be stressed..." She said, but something clicked in her mind before she wondered, "Wait, what do you mean, at least for two months?"

"What she was saying is don't stress yourself, so our first baby won't leave us before meeting us," Vincencio answered before Aletia Eztli could say something.

Dumbfounded. Speechless at the news she just heard. It took her a few moments to let the news sink in her mind.

"I'm what?" she softly wondered for clarification, but her eyes welled up with tears, making Vincencio squeeze her hand on her lap.

"You're pregnant, Sky." Aletia Eztli clarified.

"I'll be a mother now…we're going to be parents…" she softly mumbled and looked lovingly at Vincencio, who was smiling with assurance with her.

"I hope you can stay away from anything bloody, better since your baby might turn out to be like you." Shana teasingly said, making Skylar glare at her.

"Well, it won't be a concern since Mom molded me to be like that." With confidence, she smiled with conviction, making her husband laugh.

"You remember." Aletia Eztli said with relief.

"Yes, and Rudolf is starting again." She said as her mood turned grim.

"Don't worry about him. You're brother has been holding him." She seriously said before giving a small wooden box that she was familiar with. "He wanted me to give you that once you remember. He says to come to him first, and he'll tell if you're ready to face that nomad."

"Note taken," Skylar replied coldly before putting the box in her pocket, and after drinking water, she got up from the bed, stretching. Then she added, "Don't tell him about my pregnancy. I'll get back at him if my guts were on spot."

The couple stayed for a few more days with the pack and celebrated the news, but they had to leave and return to the city. They bid their farewell, and instead of Vincencio in the driver's seat, Skylar was behind the wheel, reasoning that she's a faster driver than he is.

"WIFEY, SLOW DOWN!" Vincencio shouted as he braced himself from each deep turn and fast driving that Skylar was doing whenever she stepped on the gas. He was tightly holding the seatbelt and the roof from the speed before adding, "YOU'RE MAKING OUR CAR FLY."

"Well, it's fun." Skylar chuckled, making Vincencio look at her, horrified.

"Oh God, please let us arrive in the city proper safe and alive." He mumbled his prayer, making Skylar chuckle, and kept driving fast.

Upon their arrival at the La Luna Perfume & Jewelry company, Vincencio quickly got out of the car, on his knees, panting for his life. Medina and Joey looked at each other, confused, while Skylar sighed.

"Oh, Hubby, stop being dramatic. It's a fun drive like in the Fast and the Furious movie." She mocked, making Vincencio frown, but he followed his wife inside the company.

"Really now, you're talking movies." He scoffed, his knees still shaken, but still managed to walk fast behind his wife, whiny. "Wifey."

"Compose, Hubby." She quickly changed her façade, as she fixed her husband's collar before going into her full boss mode, untouchable and unreadable. "We're in the company."

"Fine, but I'll stay beside you." He growled protectively and possessively, which made Skylar sweetly chuckle before pecking his lips.

"You better be." She said, and the four of them entered the lift. "Report."
