Boom!!

The mountain peak trembled, and the air shattered with a deafening roar.

An invisible curtain of water rippled violently, only to vanish in less than a breath.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A storm of shockwaves erupted outward in a perfect circle, striking terror into the Serpentfolk. They craned their necks to gaze skyward.

"What is that?!"

"What's happening?!"

Their serpentine pupils contracted to pinpricks of fear. On the horizon, atop the towering cliffs, a forty-meter-tall Platinum Giant had materialized.

Its wings, spanning over a hundred meters, blotted out the sky, eclipsing the azure heavens and drifting white clouds.

Even the radiant, crimson sun vanished behind this celestial behemoth, leaving only an overwhelming shadow that engulfed the entire procession.

Breaths froze, throats tightened, bodies paralyzed by dread.

Then, at last, it came.

As if a youth clad in black armor coldly surveyed the scene, the massive Platinum Colossus clenched its fist.

Boom!!!

The punch descended like a mountain collapsing, a direct strike at the heart of the Serpentfolk formation.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

The hurricane-force wind tore through everything. Even before the fist landed, fissures snaked across the mountain cliffs.

Serpentfolk shattered instantly, their brown, blue, and gray scales scattering like shrapnel.

At the center of the advancing column, the massive lizard beast hissed and thrashed, yet no sound escaped its throat. Instead, its hind legs buckled, forcing it to its knees.

The black scales trembled violently, blood seeping from the gaps between them.

Bloodshot vertical pupils darted wildly as the Sixth-Tier Saints and Serpentfolk Elders in the mobile wooden camp desperately realized their powers were locked down by an overwhelming pressure, leaving them powerless to resist.

Just as all seemed lost...

"Insolent!"

A Serpentfolk clad in a black hooded robe materialized from the shadows at the rear of the procession, his face twisted with fury. The golden serpent insignia on his sleeve blazed with divine authority.

Activating a Temple Token, he unleashed a surge of potent energy that permeated the area.

A crimson light threatened to erupt skyward, and the Serpentfolk Saints and Elders within the mobile wooden camp visibly stirred with renewed hope.

Angelic Power!

We're saved!

Boom!!!

A mountain-sized fist crashed down, the colossal golden light of a celestial meteorite refusing to yield.

A massive crater exploded into existence, the air shattering with a thunderous roar.

Cracks spiderwebbed across the landscape as meter after meter of the mountainside crumbled and collapsed.

The Serpentfolk Tribe's Sixth-Tier Saints and Fifth-Tier Elders were pulverized into dust, the storm-like shockwaves indiscriminately slaughtering nearly all the Serpentfolk.

Some human slaves froze in stunned silence, their faces betraying a deathly relief.

But then, at the critical moment, towering walls of earth and rock erupted from the shattered ground, shielding all the humans in unison.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

Boom!!

The roaring shockwave swept past, spiderwebbing cracks across the Earth-Rock Walls.

An eerie silence descended upon the mountain. A ragged human slave youth, eyes wide, peered through a crack in the rock barrier.

A tornado of dust, a swirling vortex connecting heaven and earth, filled the horizon.

In the gloom, the formidable Serpentfolk and colossal Lizard Behemoths had vanished without a trace.

In their place lay scattered chunks of mangled flesh, mingled with blood and soil.

High above, the majestic Platinum Giant loomed, shrouded in the tornado of dust and the billowing clouds.

Its stern, grayish-white stone eyes remained impassive, yet seemed to scrutinize every inch of the ravaged landscape.

Click!

Finally, it slowly retracted its fist.

The massive crater, hundreds of meters wide, collapsed further, sending seismic tremors rippling through the ground that reached the feet of every human and spread kilometers outward.

Some gasped in awe, their lips moving in silent murmurs. Others swallowed hard, their bodies and minds trembling.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

At that moment, several Flying Eagle Beasts emerged from the murky sky, flapping swiftly toward the scene.

Gazing down at the swirling tornado of dust and the gaping fissures below, elite warriors clad in silver armor with green vine cloaks, or brown rock armor, stared wide-eyed in awe.

"Is this... an angel?"

"S-so powerful."

"Truly worthy of Lord Feng Chen."

Olon's eyes flickered with shock, while Molly's shone with reverence. The once-imposing Flying Eagles now appeared dwarfed, barely managing to cluster behind the Colossus's crown.

Witnessing this spectacle, the surviving humans below finally snapped out of their stupor. The Platinum Giant seemed like a legendary deity, and the elite warriors like celestial soldiers. They felt an overwhelming urge to thank and worship, to prostrate themselves in gratitude before this divine being.

But then—

Crack!

A stone suddenly shattered on the silent ground, the sharp noise piercing the stillness. All eyes turned to see a hooded Serpentfolk Divine Envoy slowly rising from beneath the rubble. His fractured body, pieced together like shattered porcelain, was enveloped in an intensely crimson aura that forcibly repaired his disintegrating form.

"What is this?" Olon and the others murmured in confusion, their eyes drawn upward to Chen Feng, clad in black armor, who coldly surveyed the scene.

With a casual gesture, Chen Feng dispelled the swirling tornado of dust, restoring the sky to its clear, azure blue.

"So, a fragment of Angelic Power," he murmured, his deep voice echoing from the clouds as he gazed down at the black-robed Divine Envoy, who was rapidly regenerating his body.

The Envoy's serpentine eyes, bloodshot and filled with shock and disbelief, scanned the fallen Serpentfolk around him. Fear mingled with overwhelming hatred in his gaze.

That Outlander again!

How dare he repeatedly defy the Serpent God's will?

Buzz!!!

In an instant, the Envoy drained all his Bloodline Power, activating the token he clutched tightly. A crimson beam shot skyward, piercing through the clouds and coalescing into a massive spectral image of a Winged Serpent, sixty to seventy meters in length.

A wave of intense malice surged outward, chilling Olon and the others to their bones. A primal terror seized their hearts as the gaze fell upon them, rendering them unable to muster even a fraction of their power. Even their Seeds of Life seemed to recoil into dormancy.

For a moment, they were subjected to the same oppressive pressure they had experienced from the Serpentfolk Elder earlier.

"Great Angel! King of Winged Serpents!"

"I offer my flesh and blood as a bridge for your descent!"

Below, the Saint-level Serpentfolk Divine Envoy's face twisted into a crazed expression as his Life Essence burned away at a terrifying rate. He had chosen to perform a Blood Sacrifice, offering himself as a vessel for the resurrection and descent of a High-Ranking Angel. This would transform a mere fragment of Angelic Power into a true Angelic Incarnation!

Boom!!

The overwhelming crimson light solidified, causing the sky to churn with turbulent energy and chaotic winds.

"Winged Serpent King!!"

"I offer my soul to you—"

Splat!!

His deranged words were abruptly cut short as a Crimson Gold Javelin shot forth with a deafening sonic boom. The thick, blood-red shield shattered instantly, and the devastating impact blasted a gaping hole through the Serpentfolk Divine Envoy's chest.

"Gah..."

Blood gurgled from his lips, his fervent prayers abruptly silenced. He lowered his gaze in disbelief, watching crimson droplets rapidly seeping from the wound as the Crimson Gold Javelin continued its trajectory.

A hundred meters away in the sky, the youth in Black Armor merely raised his palm, aiming at him as if wielding a spear.

"You—"

The Serpentfolk Divine Envoy struggled to speak, utterly bewildered.

What kind of power is this?

How could it pierce through Angelic Power comparable to that of an Envoy Rank?

But most importantly...

Roar!!!

"Human, you're courting death!"

The crimson Winged Serpent in mid-air flickered, its suppressed roar shaking the heavens and earth.

The Winged Serpent King's will had been roused to fury. It sensed that the Life Essence meant as a sacrifice to it had been stolen.

The Crimson Gold Javelin acted like a forbidden artifact that devoured life. Before their eyes, the Serpentfolk Divine Envoy's body visibly withered and shriveled.

Finally...

Boom!

The Serpentfolk's body exploded into a cloud of gray fragments.

Olon and the Holy City's elite were already numb with shock, while the surviving humans stood frozen in stunned disbelief.

Buzz!

The Crimson Gold Javelin vanished instantly. Chen Feng felt his Heart of Life surge with renewed vitality. He looked up impassively at the increasingly ethereal image of the Winged Serpent.

"Don't be impatient."

"Your turn will come soon."

Roar!!

Chen Feng's indifferent words completely enraged the Winged Serpent King. The Temple Token on the ground shattered with a crack, briefly intensifying the crimson light in the air.

Whoosh!

The colossal Winged Serpent phantom, tens of meters long, swooped down, its gaping maw unleashing a tremendous suction force and waves of corrosive energy.

The air turned acrid, and the white clouds dispersed.

The entire sky was a dull, oppressive darkness. The brown earth gradually transformed into a lifeless gray, and rocks crumbled into dust.

Olon and the others felt their bodies growing cold, as if they were rapidly decaying. Even the Flying Eagle Beasts beneath them seemed on the verge of losing their feathers and mutating into grotesque forms.

Until finally—

BOOM!!!

A golden light erupted skyward, piercing the oppressive darkness.

The diamond-shaped crystal in the crown refracted the celestial radiance, shattering the gloom.

Two platinum arms, thick as celestial pillars, thrust upward, striking left and right like golden dragons. They tore through the clouds and seized the hideous maw of the crimson phantom.

A corrosive force crackled incessantly, causing the golden light to dissipate in wisps of white smoke.

But then—

"MOH!!"

A thunderous roar shook the heavens. Veins across the Holy Shield Colossus's massive frame surged like surging Earth Veins as its platinum arms unleashed primal, earth-shattering strength!

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

The peaks of Heaven's Fall Mountain trembled anew, as if the Colossus had stomped upon them for leverage.

Golden light and crimson darkness each claimed half the sky, until finally—

Rip!

The platinum hands tore the blood-red maw asunder, obliterating all suction and corrosion.

The Holy Shield Colossus had countered the formidable Angelic Power with sheer brute force, but the golden armor of its immense body and its platinum arms were now etched with trails of corrosive darkness.

"A High-Ranking Angel," Chen Feng murmured, narrowing his eyes. He noticed the dense black spots that now dotted his golden Steel Bones. Each spot was a pit eroded by the corrosive Angelic Power, nearly breaching even his Rainbow Iron-Grade Steel Bones.

And this was merely a fraction of a High-Ranking Angel's full power. Even this glimpse revealed the vast disparity between angels.

As these thoughts flashed through his mind, the crimson light in the sky gradually dissipated. Residual gusts of wind still swirled in the air, and scattered white clouds slowly coalesced.

The intense malevolent gaze that had accompanied the vanishing light had been forcefully blocked by the Power of the Holy Sword, causing Chen Feng's eyes to gleam with renewed respect for the Holy Sword's capabilities.

Oblivious to his thoughts, Olon and the others stood stiffly, mouths agape, still reeling from the spectacle. Both the Angelic Power and the Holy Shield Colossus's full-force eruption had completely defied their understanding. Only the Power of the Holy Sword, once wielded by Legion Commander Adams, offered a comparable scale.

For a moment, the air hung silent, broken only by the sound of nervous swallowing. Chen Feng shook his head and prepared to command the Holy Shield Colossus to shrink in size and absorb Earth Vein Power to heal its wounds.

But then—

In the next instant—

Crack!

A sharp, crisp sound pierced the air. Chen Feng's gaze sharpened as he and the Holy Shield Colossus turned their attention toward the summit of Heaven's Fall Mountain.

The Greenfield Mountains, once lush with vegetation, had been swept clean by the earlier shockwave, leaving behind a landscape littered with fractured boulders and cracked mud walls. A section of the mountain had collapsed.

Yet, remarkably, the summit remained perfectly intact, its peak now appearing even sharper than before. A darker, brownish material, deeper within the mountain, had been exposed, faintly reflecting a white halo.

Chen Feng's eyes narrowed at the sight. Olon and the others, still reeling from the earlier events, struggled to regain their composure and followed his gaze with growing curiosity.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

A series of crisp cracks echoed through the air as the mountain's summit began to split apart, the fragments separating horizontally. Pieces of rock crumbled away, revealing more of the distinctive brownish material that shimmered like metal. Straight lines etched across its surface, subtly glowing white, pulsed with upward-flowing energy, as if charging.

"What is this?" Olon and the others murmured in bewildered awe, unable to comprehend the phenomenon.

Chen Feng's pupils constricted. He clearly saw that the splitting mountain summit had revealed a perfectly straight, vertical passage leading deep into the mountain's core.

Then, with a low hum that vibrated through the air,

Hummm!

As if fully charged, a pillar of blinding white light erupted skyward. In an instant, it transformed into a cylindrical beam, engulfing Chen Feng completely.

Molly and the others paled, their voices rising in alarm.

But before they could react, Chen Feng's figure flickered and vanished without a trace.
