The clash of law still hums in the air, but it goes no further.
Alix stands there, one hand pressed lightly against a sword of fire-law. The weapon trembles, its brilliance dimming beneath his touch, as if the law itself refuses to defy him.
Velira exhales a shaky laugh of relief. Grathum lowers his axe, chest heaving molten breaths. Zurrak snarls low, void flickering around his fangs, but even he falls still.
Vernoso's eyes widen, shock cutting across his fury.
"What—?" His voice cracks, disbelief dripping from it. He can feel it—this new figure is only Tier 6. His senses don't lie. And yet, this monster just halted his execution. "Impossible. A Tier 6… stopped my law weapon?"
The fire swords vanish into smoke at his command. His smirk returns, though thinner, hiding unease.
"You… you must be their king."
Alix's hand drops to his side. He doesn't move, doesn't posture—yet his presence fills the battlefield heavier than any law-born flame. His voice is calm, almost casual.
