Second Elder Ilzan was the polar opposite of the First Elder, a man who had looks hard to describe, and yet a singular word could summarize it all:
Handsome.
Maybe too handsome, in a lot of ways.
He was closer to Lyrah's age, more middle-aged, though maybe a few years older. He had the signature look of a silver fox—hair of white and silver, and eyes that radiated a delicate baby blue color.
He walked with confidence and grace. Though there was no smile that hung from his lips, he still somehow felt approachable and safe.
Those aware of his true character, though, were more than smart enough to stay away from him. And maybe that went doubly so for his disciple.
The young man who followed after Ilzan was older than the First Elder's grandson by a few years, and his aura radiated the confidence of a disciple with such seniority.
