"What?" Theron asked with his same patented gentle smile. "Is there a problem?"
"The General isn't free to guide people. She has very important matters to attend to every day," Daisy said coldly.
"Is that so?" Theron blinked. "That's a shame."
Daisy was about to speak again, Theron's nonchalance really getting under her skin. But a raise of Ameridia's hand made her stop in her tracks.
"Why are you asking this?" Ameridia asked calmly.
Theron blinked again as though he didn't understand the question. "Why wouldn't I want to be taught by you?"
Ameridia's eyes narrowed.
Theron asking her such a thing didn't make any sense. He was someone who had gotten the upper hand on Viper. Granted, Viper wasn't using her own abilities and was instead mimicking her, but she was still a Transcendent.
Why would a King with so much power ask for such a thing?
