As soon as they entered, the group was enveloped by an aroma of ancient parchments and enchanted dust. The walls were lined with gleaming shelves, and little charms flew from one corner to another like playful fireflies.
Amelia disappeared for a few seconds behind a display case of magical jewelry and returned with a mischievous smile, holding a small silver ring with a light green stone in the center.
"You should buy this one, Kael. It's a lie detector ring!" he said, nudging it lightly with his elbow. "That way you'll never be fooled by students or teachers again!"
