It was midnight.
I sat on a sofa and stared outside the window. The sky was dark, but I remained quiet and confused.
Most especially, I could not get her out of my head.
I have not been able to, after she humiliated me in the presence of her pack's warriors.
They must think that I was a disappointment as an Alpha for being easily beaten by a woman.
I was not even able to successfully land any attacks against her. She was very fast for my eyes, and her style of battle felt so much out of my league.
How did she become so amazing? She used to be a useless Luna. She used to be a useless nobody who usually followed me around like a lost fool.
Why did those moments change? Why has she not only become stunning, but has equally become so powerful and unable to be controlled?
