Chapter 369 - Ch 369 : A Battle Between Women

The Third Match of the Two-World Exchange: A Battle Between Women

Both combatants were stunningly beautiful—one with a fiery, breathtaking figure, the other exuding an air of dignified elegance and gentle grace.

This match stirred even more anticipation than the previous two.

Even if the battle itself didn't surpass the earlier fights, simply witnessing these two women clash was already a spectacle worth watching.

Tsunade casually tossed aside her green haori, leaving her in a sleeveless top that showcased her toned, athletic figure.

Her overwhelming curves drew countless eager gazes.

After Vice Captain Sasakibe Chojiro completed the formalities, only the two fighters remained in the center of the arena.

A breeze swept in through the shattered white Sekkiseki wall in the distance, ruffling Unohana's robes and sending Tsunade's single ponytail swaying with the wind.

Tsunade focused on her opponent.

She couldn't tell if it was just her imagination, but the previously gentle and harmless-looking Unohana now exuded a faint aura of danger.

Judging by the last two fights, a captain's strength was definitely nothing to take lightly.

Taking a deep breath, Tsunade declared, "I'm coming!"

The moment her voice fell, she launched herself forward like a cannonball.

Though her speed wasn't as monstrous as Might Guy's earlier display, she was still incredibly fast.

Unohana calmly watched her charge, showing no change in expression.

With a single hand gripping her blade, she lightly leaped back, evading the incoming attack.

BOOM!

The ground where Tsunade had landed exploded violently, sending tremors echoing through the battlefield.

Tsunade's tightly clenched fist did not halt even though her target had vanished.

Instead, it smashed directly into the ground.

In an instant, the smooth floor cracked apart, sending countless fissures radiating outward.

The next second, massive chunks of stone erupted violently from beneath the earth!

Within mere moments, the area within several meters of Tsunade had turned into a field of shattered debris and rubble!

Was this… really human strength?!

Everyone who witnessed this scene was left utterly speechless, their shock beyond words.

Unohana, who had initially planned to cast a Kido spell after retreating, now halted her movements.

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

If that punch had landed… this wouldn't be a laughing matter.

It seemed her opponent had some real skill.

Standing amidst the rising dust of the ruined battlefield, Tsunade flexed her fist.

Her hand was slender and delicate-looking, making it almost unbelievable that such terrifying strength could come from it.

It had been a while since her last serious battle—her body felt a bit rusty.

"Hado #31: Shakkaho!"

A blazing fireball shot forth from Unohana's hands, surging directly toward Tsunade.

However, Tsunade's eyes flickered.

She wove chakra around her hand and, with a single palm strike, effortlessly smacked the fireball apart!

Swoosh!

Her figure vanished as she leaped high into the air, charging straight at Unohana with incredible speed.

"Bakudo #62: Hyapporankan!"

Unohana stood in place, raising one hand high.

Countless glowing hexagonal pillars shot forth, sealing off all possible escape routes for Tsunade in midair.

However, Tsunade moved with astonishing speed.

With a single punch, she shattered one of the pillars.

Then, timing her movements precisely, she used another pillar as a foothold to propel herself even higher.

Like a falling mountain, she came crashing down!

Boom!

The entire ground trembled violently.

This attack was even more powerful than before, and its destructive range was far greater.

Half of the entire arena was reduced to rubble.

Had this battle taken place in the human world rather than Soul Society, this strike alone might have caused underground water to burst forth.

As the dust and debris slowly settled, only a thick haze remained.

The audience let out a collective breath.

The sheer force of that attack had felt like an earthquake—yet it had been unleashed by a woman who looked no older than twenty!

Where was Captain Unohana?!

Countless spectators craned their necks, searching the smoke-filled ruins for any sign of her.

Yet, within the dissipating dust, only a single golden-haired figure stood.

Tsunade lowered her gaze, glancing down at her abdomen.

Her clothing had been sliced open, revealing fair skin beneath.

A faint white steam rose from the wound.

Just now, Tsunade had been wounded—a slash across her abdomen—but thanks to her powerful physique, she healed almost instantly.

"Bakudo #75: Gochutekkan!"

A thunderous roar came from above as five massive iron pillars, connected by thick chains, locked onto Tsunade's position and began to descend.

More of these kinds of techniques…

Tsunade looked up, expressionless.

Just as the pillars were about to strike the ground, she suddenly vanished in a blur of speed.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In the next instant, all five massive iron pillars shattered into countless fragments.

"Bakudo #63: Sajo Sabaku!"

The glowing chains, empowered by Unohana's reiatsu, thickened immensely, transforming into a massive serpent that roared as it shot toward Tsunade!

More of these same tricks?!

Tsunade was growing impatient.

She slammed a fist into the already fractured ground, causing countless stones to rise up, blocking the path of the snake-like chains.

Dark markings began to spread slowly across her face as a massive surge of chakra erupted from her body.

Swish!

In a flash, Tsunade reappeared beside Unohana, her speed now on a completely different level than before.

Unohana was slightly surprised by the sudden shift.

She could hear the roar of Tsunade's punch cutting through the air—but just before impact, an invisible force stopped the attack.

A glowing barrier surrounded Unohana's body.

"Hah!"

The barrier couldn't hold back Tsunade's punch for more than a second, but that brief moment was enough for Unohana to react.

Boom!

A solid hit—Tsunade was certain she had struck her opponent directly, sending her flying.

Splurt!

Blood splattered onto the ground—the wound was deep.

Tsunade stared in shock at her own right hand, where bone was visible through the torn flesh.

She hadn't even seen her opponent draw her blade.

It was the same with the wound on her abdomen earlier.

Was her sword draw just that fast…?

Her hand rapidly regenerated, fresh blood sizzling as it evaporated into steam, leaving no trace of the injury.

Tsunade turned her gaze forward.

Several dozen meters away, Unohana stood unharmed despite taking a direct hit.

Under the watchful eyes of the audience, her right hand—which had only been casting Kido until now—slowly moved to the hilt of her blade.

Shing...

The sword had a slightly deeper curve than usual, and as it left its sheath, an overwhelming pressure filled the air.

The Captain of the 4th Division, leader of the Medical Corps…

Unohana's voice remained as gentle as ever. "It seems I'll have to show some real skill, or who knows how this battle will end."

Many found her words absurd—effortlessly casting high-level Kido like Hado #75 without incantation… wasn't that already true skill?

Whoosh!

Before Tsunade could react, Unohana had already appeared right in front of her.

A flash of cold steel—a blade!

Tsunade instinctively stepped back and reached out to block it directly.

Her body was tough; she didn't fear blades, didn't fear injuries!

But in that fleeting moment of flashing steel, she caught a glimpse of cold, indifferent eyes—and suddenly, an icy pain pierced her chest!

Splurt!

Unohana's sword was caught in Tsunade's grip—held tightly, even as it sliced into her palm.

Ignoring her bleeding hand, Tsunade looked down—and found that, at some point, a short blade had stabbed into her chest!

In an instant, she understood.

That was why her hand and abdomen had been wounded earlier.

This woman hadn't drawn her sword at all… she had a hidden, smaller blade!

"Hado #4: Byakurai!"

"Bakudo #63: Sajo Sabaku!"

The two women remained locked in a tense struggle—one gripping the hilt, the other clutching the blade—when suddenly, Unohana's free hand pressed against Tsunade's shoulder.

In an instant, a pillar of white light shot through Tsunade, while glowing yellow chains wrapped tightly around her.

At such close range, dodging was impossible—she was completely bound.

"Tch—!" Tsunade hissed, her body collapsing onto the ground.

Though her strength was immense, it was built for burst power, not gradual resistance.

The reiatsu-infused chains made it difficult to break free.

"Now you shouldn't be able to move, right?"

Unohana stood over her, holding her sword with one hand, her usual gentle smile back on her face.

It was as if the cold, piercing gaze Tsunade had seen moments ago had never existed—only she had seen it.

The match seemed decided, yet the entire arena fell into dead silence.

Regardless of pure strength, her ruthless and decisive methods made everyone reevaluate this seemingly warm and kind woman.

From the captains' seats, Kenpachi's eyes flickered with intrigue as he stared at Unohana, deep in thought.

"A true veteran, after all." Kyoraku clicked his tongue in admiration.

On the ground, Tsunade struggled briefly—then suddenly stilled.

Her expression calm, she spoke evenly: "What? Do you think you've won already?"

Unohana replied, "Even if you still have strength left, you should know—I had plenty of chances to finish you off while you were down."

Tsunade, however, smirked. "Then why don't you drive your sword into my throat and see if I actually die?"

Unohana's eyes narrowed slightly.

And then—

The ground trembled once more.

With a thunderous boom, a massive vine, thick as an arm, suddenly erupted from the earth!

A second vine—then a third—followed.
