The man snapped his fingers as the lighting shot from his hands and into the air causing a thunderstorm worse then what I experienced earlier, the sky darkened heavily leaving the only light sources to be the ones within the mock buildings and the scattered street lights, the rain started to stick to my skin, each burn mark caused me to cringe slightly from the exposure, "the feeling of rain against a tired feels heavenly", the man slicked his hair back, "Since i'll be teaching you i'll tell you my name", I looked the man with slightly wide eyes, {A gods name is like their power and he's just going to openly say what it is!?}, the man gripped the iron ball around his head. The iron bent like paper beneath his hands as he began to tear the mask in half, "The name's Kairo foster", obsidian hair with golden streaks flowed from the ripped helmet as it clatter against the moist ground, "and i'll be teaching you mortals a bit of divinity", I looked back at the group each one of their faces were showing a different sign of surprise, "Well it'll be less like teaching and more so I'll beat a divinity aspect into you till your body accepts it", My body screamed as the expression on my face changed to a mixture of irritation and inner thinking, {Ahh why is like Micheal man I thought I'd escaped from this hellish torment of training}, I cried internally thinking more, {And what even is a divinity aspect and why does it need to beaten into us}, I turned back Kairo, his had skin the color of coffee, and his teeth seemed to shimmer with what looked like white diamond fanged grills, "Let's start with you in the back", his form faded away in a sparkle of lighting sparks. I looked back at the group seeing Dani's face already in Kairo's palm, "Brace yourself", Kairo's hand slammed Dani's face into the ground with sicking strength, "AGH!!", Dani's screams bounced off the walls as miniature whirlwind was formed from the impact, "Aww man seems like the first try won't work", the dust cleared showing Kairo with a raised foot, "Let's try again", his foot slammed down onto Dani's chest, "C'mon just accept the aspect", Kairo foot slammed down again her screams got louder almost ear piercing. I tried to stand up to help Dani, "Sit Boy", a crushing weight pushed me back down as a fear gripped my heart stopping my breath, "Try to interrupt this process again and I'll have to make sure you don't do it again understand", each word of his was uncharacteristically serious as each seemed to carry the sharpness of a sword as my ears started to ring from his voice, "Understood", my body reacted on it's own I couldn't stop my body from answering him, "Now back to you indigo spark", Kairo raised his fist to the air as each finger started to spark with lighting, "Show Me your Brillance!!", Kairo Laughed as he slammed his hand into Dani's Chest, "A-Agh!!", Kairo pulled his hand away taking a few steps back with a smile. Dani laid still on the ground the rain from the storm slammed down on her more intensely then in the surrounding area, {is he targeting her lighting abilities?. Is that why he's been using lightning this entire time, there's no logical reason the rain should be pouring down on her this intensely when it feels like a light drizzle to us that's like a raging hurricane}, Dani's hands started to crack with veins of purple lighting. Her body started to seize up, the storm surrounding us got worse as the lighting changed colors, Dani's eyes shot open replaced with glowing orbs resembling stars replacing her pupils. Her body started to float with the help of lighting circuits. Her body finally stood straight her feet stood on circular platforms of lighting, "I don't know what you've really done to me but I will return the favor for those hits I don't care that you're a god", Dani's voice resonated with strikes of lightings. She disappeared in a blitzing line towards Kairo scorching the ground, "TAKE THIS!", Dani's slid to a stop behind Kairo with a sphere of purple lighting and slight traces of pink lighting. The ball left Dani's hand in an instant appearing towards Kairo's back before I could blink, "pretty good for a first stage", Kairo spoke casually before slapping the sphere to side. The sphere made contact with a single mock building and erupted into a devastating beam of light that kicked up a small storm of dust, the cloud cleared out revealing the aftermath of the singular sphere. Everything that stretched about a hundred to our right was turned into rubble, "that's decent some strength right there you could probably level a few city blocks", Kairo causally rubbed the back of his hand, {why did that aspect power enhance her power so much. It can't be normal he slapped the attack away in an instant there was no possible way he should've been able to deflect it when it was that close}. Dani didn't seem concerned about her attack failing as she began to move again gliding on the lighting platforms beneath her feet, "You may have blocked that but you won't stop this", both of Dani's hands got close together as a volatile sphere started to form in her hands, "oh my you're persistent, still choosing to attack me even after it failed that bad", Kairo followed Dani's movement easily, "Because It's fun", Dani threw the volatile sphere towards Kairo electrifying the rain drops it passed, "well you've done good so far rest up sparks", Kairo gripped the sphere in his hand with ease before flinging it into the air. The sphere touched the clouds clearing them in a second, The next second Kairo was behind Dani striking the back of her neck, Dani's body dropped in an instant as she seemingly powered up and passed out, "Okay who's going to be next", Kairo's attention turned to me, "how about you be next since you were so adamant on interrupting me earlier", I shivered slightly at the thought my mind remembering the beating I received earlier. {Ahh why didn't I just mind my business}, I cried internally as Kairo started towards me, "No why not do me I'll be more flashy", Jak slid to a stop in front of me stopping Kairo from moving, {Yes thank you Jak your theatrics are finally paying off in my favor}, Kairo stopped mid step seeming a bit interesting, "well aren't you something", Kairo laughed slightly as he clapped his hands, "Your attitude screams dramatic, it's not a bad thing ya know I used to have a friend just like you", Kairo seemed to remember an old memory as he stopped moving entirely as he stared up into the sky, "Yeah you're so much like him", Kairo's voice trailed off as he looked back at us, Now that i'm really looking at you all, you're all just like how me and friends were at first before all of this", Kairo put wiped a fallen tear from his face, "alright alright I need to stop with all this sappy stuff Amon was better with feelings", Kairo started to walk towards Jak, "I know the perfect aspect for you", Kairo fractured the ground beneath him appearing near Jak, "So accept it with glee", Kairo grabbed the front of Jak's shirt lifting him into the air. Before Jak could defend himself Kairo slammed him into the ground hard breaking the asphalt, "ah Agh!!", Jak swung his hands forward towards Kairo, "Glided PIkes!!", six spikes of pure gold shot from the ground towards Kairo's arms and torso, "Oh you got some fight in you great I'm starting to like this little group more and more", Kairo used his prosthetic arm to break all the spikes in a single movement, "But you'll need more then that to even scratch me", Kairo drove his prosthetic arm into Jak's stomach sending him flying upwards into the sky, "let's see how you handle this", Kairo flickered from the ground into the air above Jak preparing a hammer fist, "Twin Meteor Fall", both of his fist slammed into Jak's back sending him plummeting into the asphalt. Jak's body created a large dent in asphalt with some pieces sticking around some of his arms and legs, "a-agh", Jak's voice was barely audible as he groaned, Kairo floated down as the wind seemed to carry his hair, "well good on you kid your body accepted the fate aspect well, but that'll be for a later date", Kairo flicked Jak's forward knocking him out, "rest well goldy you did good", Kairo stood up dusting himself off, "well that's two done, who'll be next", Kairo scanned the rest of us. An unfamiliar voice came from the group as I turned back to see the boy who was with kaitlyn when I was injured by Dani, "uh… I'll do it", the boy spoke slow as if he had just woken up, his hair was long and shaggy covering his eyes as well as being an unusual shade of pink having a tinge of teal at the root. Kairo chuckled at the challenge, "you sure kid you look like you're about to go to sleep any second now", the boy rubbed his hair slightly, "Yeah… I think?", the boy rubbed his head slightly yawning, Kairo then let out a belly laugh at the response, "you're a interesting one that's a good thing tell me your name", a yawn left the boys mouth as he barely covered his mouth, " Ronan Dargion", Kairo smiled as he started to raise his hand, "you have an interesting view kid", Kairo's hand swung down followed by a volatile bolt of lighting, "Thanks… I guess?", Ronan opened his palm keeping it pointed at the ground. Vines ripped up from the ground forming a half dome above Ronan's head taking the hit of lighting, "Aren't those powerful", the vines deformed the dome above Ronan now lashing around behind him like a hydra from a fictional show, "Yeah…they are", Ronan lazily waved his hand forward seemingly commanding the vines to rush towards Kairo, "well you have quite the uncommon ability" Kairo's hand traced a circle into the air, "Flare", a tunnel of black flames barreled towards Ronan's vine burning them in an instant. Ronan didn't budge as the vines shot towards him, More vines formed beneath Ronan formed into large hands, "Sorry…not going…down that easy", the vine hands moved Ronan out of the way positioning him in the air within the palm of both hands. Kairo looked up at Ronan being held in the air by his vine hands, "you're impressing me kid, I don't think met many plant users who are this quick on their feet", Ronan rubbed his head yawning, "Is that… a compliment?", Kairo bellowed laughter loudly as Ronan looked confused, "yes kid it is a compliment", Kairo's laughter then stopped as he stared up at Ronan, "Although a god shouldn't be looking up a mortal let alone a teenager so…", Kairo swiped his finger in a horizontal line, "Drop", everything in the area went completely silent as if Kairo's finger had cut through the concept of sound, the next second a visible cut appeared on everything in like a hundred foot radius including the suits we were wearing. A third second passed and everything was severed Ronan's vines, our suits, the mock buildings and even the clouds above us were now gone. Ronan plummeted to the ground as his vines fell around him in pieces, "That's… just unfair", the fallen vines hit the ground before Ronan as the slightly softened the blow making Ronan groan, "could've just said… lower yourself ya know", Ronan had paused mid sentence to yawn, "yeah but that would've been boring and anti-climatic", Kairo disappeared from view appearing with his foot on Ronan's chest, his tone of speaking returned to it's normal state of calm and soft-spoken, "and believe me it's far more enjoyable and helpful if I beat you up a little bit before knocking you out", Kairo's foot slid beneath Ronan's body being a single movement sent Ronan into the air, "you should enjoy the breeze. Today's weather seems to be getting better", Kairo looked up at Ronan's fraling body, "AAAAAAHHH", Kairo rubbed his ear as he put his hand up to block the sun's glare, "wow he can definitely scream loud for a kid who looked a few seconds away from passing out", Ronan's body neared the ground as Kairo walked around a circle tapping his chin, "hmm what could be a fitting aspect for you", Ronan's body continued getting closer to the ground, "you'll need something unique for a unique power", Kairo put his hand out catching Ronan's body, "I got the perfect one for you kid", Kairo looked down at the almost passed out Ronan as he groaned, "now go to sleep", Kairo punched Ronan in the face with a smile as Ronan's head bounced back knocking him out, "There we go", Kairo laid Ronan on the ground turning back, "Now that leaves just you three left", Kairo's eyes skipped over me and Eden landing on Kaitlyn, "you don't seem like the combative type but the support like a healer or scout", Kaitlyn looked froze as she keep eye contact with Kairo and I couldn't blame her he just sweep through four powerful students in less then five minutes, "I'll take your sileance as a yes", Kairo blitzed forward before putting his hand on Kaitlyn's stomach, "I'll give you something that'll make up for a supports weakness", Kairo's hand moved in a swift motion delivering a one-inch punch, "Sleep", the punch landed with enough force to break the sound barrier as kaitlyn's body went flying through the sliced mocked building, "Now then the final two", Kairo seemed almost joyus we were the last ones left, "well I know I made the other's fight me one on one but you two are different", Kairo blitzed forward grabbing me and Eden in a fast sequence, "both your master's asked me to be a bit more rough with you both", I sighed knowing how michheal is, {Those psychopaths set us up from the beginning!!}, "SO LET'S BEGIN", Kairo let out a manic laugh before launching the both of us in separate directions, "AHHHH" , The bricks and stones of the sliced building prickled my body like a porcupine as I ragged dolled through multiple buildings, "AGH!!", Kairo seemingly flickered from his previous spot to right in front of me, "Come on FIGHT LIKE YOUR MASTER TOLD ME YOU DO", the front of my suit was gripped tightly before Kairo spun the both of us in a circle, "BRACE YOURSELF", Kairo's laughter went form close to distant in an instant as my body was flung through the air, {WHY HAS THIS DAY BEEN SO BAD}, I cried on the inside as my world continued to spin, {Maybe I should've stayed at the orphanage at least it didn't feel like I was getting my organ's turned to mush}, Kairo appeared above me with a devilish smile interrupting my few seconds of peace, "are you enjoying yourself…Because I sure am", Kairo performed a downwards dropkick connecting solidly against my stomach, "URGH", I felt the wind around me increase in an instant my body plummeted down, {WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE STOMACH, WHY CAN'T PEOPLE BE REASONABLE AND HIT MULTIPLE PLACES}, I slammed into the concrete creating a dent in the ground, pebbles and rubble from the sliced buildings started to fall into the dent. Kairo floated in the air above me, {I couldn't do a thing against him, my divergent ability aren't activating at all, it feels like my powers are locked behind a steel cell}, Kairo started to lift his hands as the sliced buildings began to float around him, "I've gotten a feel for why Micheal felt something wanted be to be this rough, you're a tough kid most others would've been hospitalized after just a single knee, so your little group of friends are special among a few others disciples I encountered before meeting you guys", Kairo closed his hand as the floating chucks of the mock buildings began being compressed into a spheres, "You have a powerful body, It's like a glass without a bottom I feel as if I could give you any aspect and It'll still not be enough, so I'll need to be extra rough so that bottom cup reaches it's limit", The spheres started to circle Kairo. The rubble spheres started to becoming connected through a pitch black smoke that traced and encased in red lighting, "This will be far worse then everything I've done to you so far so brace your mind and body or else you'll break", I looked at the circle Kairo's form was darkened as if the sun had been erased, {I…Can't…Do…Anything}, Kairo pointed his hand downwards, "You'll all be so much powerful, all you need to do is take the pain it'll be the beginning of powerful bliss", the energy from the circle shot down in a pillar of red and black smoke. The smoke washed over my body like a fresh fog, the smoke entered my mouth and nose making my vision go black, {W-what's happening. Why can't I see anything, my body feel as if is being suspended in water}, I tired to move but couldn't on top of feeling suspended in water, my limbs felt as if they were shackled in chains, "my my look at this another soul", a soft feminine voice echoed from all around me, "Just when It was getting silent here, Kairo that obsessive manic, I hate him", a rough and masculine voice followed not sounding mad but more so exasperated and tired, "well If this boy is here Kairo must've found or seen something impressive with him", The male voice sighed as if he just clocked into a nine to five job, "Yeah you're unfortunately right, he may be obsessive but he does have an eye for unique individuals", the feminine voice laughed softly as a warm feeling over took the entirety of my body, "well his body constitution is incredible but it still isn't yet prepared to handle even five percent of our power, he'll need more time before that", the masculine voice seemed to hum as if contemplating something, "but it would feel like a bit of a scam if he leaves without something", I felt something stirring inside of my cheat, it started gelatolus before quickly solidifying into something I coudn't make out, "Take this as a farewell gift for now",. My vision returned to me but my surroundings were different multiple craters sat around me with the top half of my suit ripped to shreds and Eden laying across from me unconscious, "Bravdo to the both of you for that excellent fight, Your aspects were clashing greatly", I turned back as Kairo sat on a throne of rubble looking down at us, "Although their animal forms would probably be more beneficial for some but hey If you both take the possession route that's fine with me", Kairo's words were almost muffled by the thumping of my heart, "Me and Eden Fought?",.
