"That's none of your business!"
"What did you just say?" The threat in his voice was unmistakable, vibrating with barely restrained fury that made the air between us feel charged with electricity.
Heat flooded my cheeks as adrenaline coursed through my veins. I refused to back down, meeting his predatory gaze with equal ferocity. My fingernails bit crescent moons into my palms.
"I said it's none of your business!" My shout echoed through the confined space of the car.
Before I could react, Zayn descended on me like a thunderclap. His mouth crashed against mine in what could barely be called a kiss - it was a branding, a punishment disguised as passion. His teeth cut into my lower lip with enough force to draw blood, the coppery tang flooding my mouth as I gasped against his assault.
