252 BEHOLD THE MAGIC POWERBANK
Petunia stepped into the fray, her presence commanding. Lillsa's retreat had left a void, and Petunia was more than ready to fill it.
Unna's gaze flicked to the artifact on Petunia's wrist—a modified artifact its surface glowing with arcane energy. "What the hell are those tentacles?" Unna demanded.
Petunia smirked, holding up the artifact. "This is the Band of Mahari, its recently improved by the Toledo craftsman."
Leo and Petunia went to the Toledo family and extorted from them their strongest artifact. They combined their heirloom artifact with Petunia's Tentacle of Mahari becoming the elegant jewelry in her hand- The Band of Mahari.
"The artifacts from the Toledo family cannot power this kind of spell", Unna said.
"Well, they can't. This artifact is powered by my own endless mana," she replied to her.
Petunia doesn't have many special offensive powers, but she had an enormous store of magic in her body locked by her Greed counters that could be released to power artifacts.
She was a natural magic power bank.
"Behold the Magic Powerbank."
"Who the hell are you people?" Unna scoffed. "Powerful as it may be your tentacles can't harm Hera."
"True," Petunia admitted, her grin widening.
"But their purpose isn't to harm her. The lightning from above like all lightning flows through. But when it was forced into my tentacles, the lightning flows through an endless loop that amplifies its power and destructiveness. Hera can't disperse the lightning now," she explained further.
As if on cue, Hera's apparition began to falter, her form flickering under the relentless assault of the amplified lightning around her body that couldn't be dispersed away, locked in a cage of lightning.
The goddess let out a pained scream, her divine essence cracking under the strain.
"It's over," Petunia declared, her voice triumphant.
"No…", Unna screamed.
But this wasn't over for Unna. Her blade sliced across her palm, and blood spilled forth in a crimson cascade.
"What the fuck?" Petunia shouted.
The offering was made to Hera, a sacrifice to feed the goddess's greed for power. As the blood touched the air, it seemed to ignite with an otherworldly energy, surging toward the heavens.
"She's sacrificing herself to feed the damn apparition", Leo noted as he watched from the hidden level of the dungeon.
"We'll need to help her", Yun-Yun said to him.
Hera's essence stirred, revitalized by the devotion and sacrifice of her faithful servant. A thunderous roar erupted from Hera's apparition, shaking the very fabric of the sky.
Above, the floating Stonehenge fractured under the sheer force of her unleashed power, its ancient stones splintering as bolts of lightning shattered into nothingness.
"Damn it! She's destroyed the Stonehenge!" Petunia shouted, her voice laced with frustration as her grip on the apparition faltered.
Freed from the binding lightning, Hera's spectral form tore through the writhing tentacles that had ensnared her.
With a swift, predatory motion, she surged forward, her gaze locked on Petunia.
Suddenly, Leo appeared before Petunia.
"Damn, it's about time you came up, the bitch is about to kill me", Petunia said.
Leo was ready. A massive dragon apparition rose from his body, its scales shimmering with power as it clashed with Hera's apparition.
But his dragon was weaker.
"Damn, she's stronger than my dragon rakhshasa," Leo muttered, gritting his teeth.
"Wait for mine," Petunia said, summoning her own dragon.
The two beasts joined forces, their combined strength pushing Hera back.
"Might as well make it three," Sujira added, suddenly appearing, stepping into the fray.
A third dragon emerged, its roar shaking the dungeon. The three dragons faced Hera in an epic clash, their battle sending shockwaves through the chamber.
"Lilleo Gullee… you are behind all this?" Unna screamed as she realized she fell into the plot of Leo.
Unna seized the moment, darting toward Leo with deadly intent. But before she could reach him, shadowy figures materialized, their blades flashing as they struck her from all sides.
"Who are these shadow assassins?" Unna demanded, her voice tinged with shock. "Their moves… they're familiar."
Leo grinned. "They used to work for you. Remember Cruena and her girls?"
Unna's eyes widened. "Impossible. How did you turn them against me?"
But Unna was no ordinary assassin.
She was one of the best. With unmatched skill, she dodged and parried the shadowy attacks, breaking through the pattern of their assaults easily.
In a blazing dash, she lunged at Leo, her blade aimed at his heart.
"I'll have your life, Lilleo Gullee!" she screamed.
"No," Petunia and Sujira warned.
Leo didn't flinch. "Don't worry," he replied to them calmly. "She's exactly where I want her to be."
As Unna closed in, Leo reached out, his hand brushing her arm. Instantly, she froze, her body immobilized by Leo's touch.
"Touch of Immobility."
The ground beneath her shifted, pulling her under before depositing her into the Jade Throne. With Unna's defeat, Hera's apparition dissipated, leaving only silence in its wake.
-----
Unna's body was entirely absorbed by the Jade Throne, her consciousness subdued and her will stripped away. In this state, lying was impossible—her essence was bound to the throne.
Petunia stepped forward, her voice sharp and demanding.
"Who is the Godmother of the Temple of Hera?" she asked, her gaze fixed on Unna's flickering, lifeless form.
Unna's spectral figure wavered as she spoke, her voice hollow and distant. "The Godmother of the Temple of Hera… she is many persons. Now she is Lady Dassa."
"That was what I suspected", Leo muttered before adding, "Now we know who she is, tell us about what she is?"
Unna did not hesitate. She replied immediately.
"She is a powerful demon goddess, a being who harbors and commands countless minor spirits and demons."
Leo's eyes narrowed, "Tell me more about this demon?"
Unna's voice grew softer, almost a whisper, as if fearful of being overheard by unseen forces. "The Godmother is unlike any other demon. She is an amalgamation—a fusion of countless souls and demonic essences. Over thousands of years, she evolved into what she is now, the Godmother, the General of demons."
