Chapter 249- Trying Not To Believe That They Are Same Person
Tyler's POV
I stared at him, my chest tightening like someone had just wrapped chains around me.
"No… no way," I whispered. My voice cracked without me meaning it to. "You've got to be kidding me."
The spy didn't even blink. He just looked back at me with that calm, confident face that made my skin crawl.
"I'm not kidding," he said.
I laughed—short, sharp, desperate. "No. You're lying. You have to be lying. Logan? Logan? Being Milo? That's insane."
My hands were shaking, so I shoved them into my pockets, trying to keep my cool. "If this is some joke, if you're pulling my leg, then say it now. Just admit it before I get mad."
The spy tilted his head, like he couldn't believe I was even questioning him. Then he let out a small laugh.
"Boss, you know me," he said softly. "I would never, ever try to pull your leg."
My chest tightened even more. I still couldn't accept it. My heart didn't want to accept it.
