within the cold nights air a tomb filled with cries and shrieks echoed inside being cloaked surrounded a circle full of unknown patterns as people bare naked within the circle filled with dread. "P-please let us go w-w-we wont speak of anything that happened here! please i beg of you!" a woman with orange hair and a very attractive figure shouted with an intense amount of fear in her heart then the men cladded in cloak ignored her and continued their chanting.
suddenly the men cladded in cloak running above their hideout unaware of the base.
"Chief should we get those two humanoids just incase we need more sacrifices?" a cloaked man said to the man overseeing the ritual. then the man rubbed his chin and nodded. "yes and take your squad with you just incase they are dangerous" the cloaked leader said calmly as his underlings quicly got out the room
...
"aku there are 5 people are following us" she said calmly while akumada nodded and prepared his "shine" spell in his hand while kami chanted "water creation" and "water manipulation" quickly as she formed it into numerous needles. and once the people following them were close enough. akumada released shine as the group of humans in cloaks were blinded. kami then directed the water needles into the eyes of the men and fired it.
as the needles flew it pierced the hands of the men like buter and piercing their eyes. and akumada quickly drew out his short sword as he lunged at the group of men and sliced off their limbs one by one as they screamed in pain. he grabbed one of the men by their collar and lifted him.
"why are you following us? who are you?" he asked the blinded man as it refused to spill out any information. and akumada looked at the man and opened his mouth as he bit into the mans flesh slowly devouring him. the man screamed and wailed in pain until he finally could not handle any more of the pain.
"i-i will talk! i'll talk!!" the man screamed "we are one of the outer god cultist and we though you two were easy lambs to sacrifice so we followed you both and we thought you two do not know magic" the man screamed in fear.
"so where do you do your rituals?" kami chimed in
"the mountains near the frost mountains we were already doing the ritual so we were in a hurry." the man immediately answered.
"don't act like a hero kami you know its a cult there will be many enemies there" he told kami warning her of the potential consequences.
"i know i know but we can gain information" she said to him but he is not interested. "and there would also be magic and you know they do the ritual things right what if there is more about things like that?... like summoning demons or angels or portals right" she said again with a voice that is convincing. and after a few more sweet talks he finally gave into her as he dragged the cultist and made him say the direction while leaving the others to bleed.
two and a half minutes later they arrived at a cave that smells of blood and flesh with a final glare at the cultist akumada tore the throat out of the man as he dropped the corpse into the ground to bleed. then they entered the cave cautiously. meanwhile the corpse was slowly dragged into the bushes by a giant insect limb.
as the ritual stalled the cult leader was starting to get annoyed on how long his underlings was taking to capture two beings "Vok can you scout out why is nuk taking so long to capture two beings" he commanded vok the cultist.
the cultist nodded and quickly ran to the long cave and suddenly he was sucked inside the shadow of the cave and the entire cultist group were instantly alerted as suddenly a giant dark dragon head lunged out the entrance and instantly devouring 2 out of the 17 cultist.
5 of the cultist instantly chanted "shine" that is directed at the cave entrance only to be blocked by a giant water wall. "WATER CREATION" "WATER MANIPULATION" "WATER ARMOR" "DENSIFICATION" a female voice rang out as she bursts through the water wall and instantly piercing 3 unprotected cultist with a needle like a weapon as she threw 5 feather like daggers into the cultist leader which was instantly deflected and redirected to her with a small sacrificial dagger in his hand.
kami with precision cached the feather blades without any confidence and before she coulf move more a barrage of lightning strikes headed for her body quickly that was being fired from the hands of the cultist underlings and she had no choice but to quickly dodge from pillar to pillar to not get electrocuted.
meanwhile akumada was still waiting to finish his magic and erupt it "16_15...14..13..12..11..10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1.." he smiled as he activated "DARKNESS CONSUMES THE LIGHT" a large explosion of darkness filled the entire cavern and kami was relieved as she was safe from the lightning as even she was blinded by the darkness as even light sources had no effect other than get devoured instantly by the darkness.
the room was full of panic of both the cultist and the people that was being sacrificed except for three. akumada, kami, and the cult leader and akumada made the first move as he began cutting the throats of the cultist one by one with his downcast and soon the light returned and the only ones standing are only three people in a triangle position. waiting on who will make the first move.
kami soon took the first move as she chanted "WATER MANIPULATION" and formed her water armor into two lances as it floated around her and she lunged forward and the cultist leader chanted "SUPER NOVA MAGIC! "LORD THIS THY WILL DO YOUR BIDDING LEND ME POWER" the cult leader chanted as his eyes went blank and his body began to move like a puppet as he easily deflected kami's attack and suddenly without looking behind him his hand bended behind straight and slapped akumada's downcast away as he chanted "Flame ball" and akumada did not get a chance to dodge as the flame ball hit him directly at the chest and he flew 2 meters away from the cultist leader.
kami focused on the enemy as kami activated her zeus ability and pointed it at the cultist leader as without a chant a lightning strike busted out of the weapon and struck the cultists directly but he remained unfazed.
and the cultist leader charged at her with his sacrificial dagger and began attacking unlike of a human and more like a puppen on strings. as he moved unnaturally and his body moved as if being controlled by strings. he punched her chest and arms and when she staggered he kicked her face as she flew back a meter. he pulled out his sacrificial dagger and slowly moved towards her without any emotion. as suddenly he saw his head fall off his body and he looked the one behind him and he saw the boy who took his life.
akumada as he watched kami fight the cultist leader he picked up his short sword as he walked towards the cult leader from behind as he got ready to cut the head of the cult leader. and when he saw kami cornered he took the opportunity as his short swords blade touched the cult leaders head and sliced it off.
"kami are you ok?" he asked and she looked at him and nodded
"y-yeah glad you made it in time" she said with a heavy sigh as she lifted herself from the ground and akumada walked towards her and stepping over the corpse and he looked at her and smiled.
they looked around and saw 3 people in a summoning circle naked and scared the others seem to have had ran off. and they looked at the three who remained one male and two female.
"can i ask why did you three remain here?" akumada asked as he stared the three
the man stood up and kami got embarrassed as she looked at akumada. "can you three get clothed just take the one from the corpses" she said wit a serious tone and the three realized quickly they were naked so they quickly got dressed and once finished they introduced themselves.
"my name is shirude.. shirudo lapu a half elf and giant." the man introduced himself with brown hair and green eyes, muscular body and 8ft tall.
":my name is tagayasu pana a half elven and human" said the brown haired woman with a slim body, 5ft tall and onyx eyes
"my name is kay shito the woman with orange hair, 5,2ft tall and an attractive figure said
"i see" akumada said suspiciously. well my name is akumada and that is kami he pointed at kami
"well nice to meet yall but we should leave now " kami said as she used her shoulder to strike aku lightly but before thay could leave kay looked at them. "i know you both are not fully humans but as a kind gesture and promise i will not tell anyone about your true race but i can help you in buying supplies at a market of humans and can i join you two?. she asked with a serious yet hopeful face.
then lapu and pana followed through and with a hard decision akumada and kami decided to let pana, lapu and kau follow as an acquaintance.

sorry for the late chapter and with such a small chapter i had a writers block for weeks and i am going to collage in a month which will not be helping and i will make a illustration to get a bit of curiosity in here and more schedule like this will likely pop up more and i cant refine this but i will do updates just to fix errors
and once this finished i will be satisfied
tbh this was not supposed to be a combat chapter they were supposed to be in a town by now but i cant think of how to insert pana and lapu since human settlements are out of aku's reach due to his horns and i don't want the chapter be them just going on parttime works in a market so i scrapped it with 1k chapters
