Beep, Beep, Beep
A floral scent entered my nostrils, the beeping, the numb pain in my stomach, it felt unbearable.
I felt tired and yet also reenergized.
"He's awake, get his sister," a soft-spoken person said.
i had yet to open my eyes, i knew it was sunny and bright out though, the orange red of my eye lids told me that.
"Ohh thank god your ok Levi" i felt someone touch my hand, it was sister.
"You had me worried so much, we didnt know if youd, if youd make it" i felt a drop of warmth touch my hand.
i slowly opened my eyes "So.. you do.. have. Emotions" i smiled, it felt quite weak though.
She chuckled "Yes, yes i do" she stood up "Get some rest were going home soon"
the door closed with a click and a creak, why did my mind feel as so much peace.
and why wasnt Veryix speaking.
The room they had put me in was all white, except a line of black in the middle, a window to my left, allowed some light and a great view of the city.
The city, The Academy, wait i cant go home i need to study and learn and get stronger so Leon can too.
But was my core... hopefully not.
i would have to wait till next meal to ask some questions to the doctors.
and so i waited, and the view was betiful, the sunset combined with the beaches.
Gruuougle (totally a word)
there was a pang in my stomach, honestly, from hunger, i still dont know how long ive been here, probably a day or two at most.
I also couldnt see my system, the worst had likely happened.
I slowly pulled myself up, into a sitting position, my muscles ached as if they hadnt been used in awhile.
there should be a phone or something nearby.
30 minutes later.
The sound of wheels that needed greasing could be heard from anywhere in the hospital, hopefully dinner.
The door creaked open. "Master Levi, its good to see you awake and in good health." his voice was gruff.
he bowed as he entered the room "I would advise caution when eating, this was made by Master Iva" his face wrinkled when looking down at the food.
I guess Iva wasnt good at cooking. "Well, it's got to be better than the liquid diet."
he looked me dead in the eyes and shook his head and then mouthed the words "Trust me"
i let out a sigh "Well ill try it"
The frown took over his face completely, he moved the plates around and brought up the in-bed table, and began to set the plates down. "So what Master Iva has graciously made you is a meal she said you love, breakfast for dinner"
it couldnt be that bad Right.
20 minutes later
it was That Bad.
Sometime thatnight
there was a knock on the door, it was quiete as if trying to see if i was awake.
"COME IN!" i was hoping it would be some of the main group, maybe even Leon.
the door slowly creaked opened "Hi Mr Crown, im Sera we go to the same academy" she scratched the back of her head and mumbled, "but you probably dont know me, due to my rank"
"The Hell do you want, or are you a medic, the scent of healing herbs is strong on you" i started that sentence too agresive, maybe i should appolgize...
she smilled "Your probably confused as to why some stranger is visiting you" she nodded her head as if confirming her own question "You've been asleep for 3 months."
my stomach turned "WhAt?"
my vistion was bluring, i felt my ears going red t
he world felt like it was spinning.
"By the light of the divine, i cast Holy Respite" mana flowed around me until a small hallow formed around my head, slowly the light from the mana disapated and the room returned to being dark.
"That should Help you Mr. Crown, i know it can be alot to take in..." her hair was an unatural shade of yellow and her eyes they seemed to glow blue, or maybe that was her pendant.
she seemed to hold her tounge as if what she could say next might hurt even more "Speak whats on your mind, actualy wait, im sorry youve just helped me and i didnt even say thank you" i raised myself to a sitting position "How can i thank someone when i dont even know their full name, also you can call me Levi"
she nodded and smiled "im am Sera Lumuria, and there is no need to thank me Mr Crown" she sat in one of the chair that was next to my bed.
"you know Levi, many of your freinds have come to visit you, that does include Leon, he gave us a message for you." she opened one of the pouches around her waist and pulled out a folded letter.
"we didnt know how long you would be asleep so we folded it and put it in a secure location." she gently set it down on the bed "If you would like i can open it for you"
My hair how had i not noticed it earlier it now reflected light, like silver "my core is broken, isnt it..." my eyes closed and i looked up
"Yes, but there is hope of healing it, but..." she paused and messed with her necklace, "Its dangerous and could likely fail, failure results in death"
"Tell me, ill take any risk" the minute she spoke of a possible way my eyes shot open.
she sighed and stood up "im sorry Levi.. i cant, you will die certainly" she waved to me as she left.
