A decision had already formed in her mind.
She knew what she wanted, and though it hurt a little to think about what she would miss, she had made her choice.
"Thank you," she said softly.
On the other end of the line, Spencer chuckled.
"It's not a big deal. You don't need to thank me for every little thing."
Aurora rolled her eyes even though he couldn't see her.
She was about to respond when an idea suddenly came to her.
Without saying anything, she quickly opened her banking app and transferred one billion dollars to Spencer.
A few seconds later, Spencer's phone chimed with a notification.
When he saw the amount, his eyes widened in disbelief. He froze, staring at the screen.
"Aurora," he said, his voice caught between shock and confusion.
"What are you doing? Why are you sending me a billion dollars out of nowhere?"
Aurora leaned back in her chair and said calmly,
"You should plan our vacation well. That money is for you to use."
