Selena merely shrugged and answered lightly, "I couldn't help myself. That's all."
Mia let out a soft breath and rolled her eyes again. "If you try something like that again, I'll have to punish you."
Her words were firm but not harsh.
She turned back, exposing her back to Selena once more.
That small gesture surprised Selena.
She had half expected Mia to throw her out or at least push her away, but Mia had done neither.
It made her realize that her assumptions about Mia and about Aurora had been wrong.
