Chapter 208 - Chapter 207: Solus, Die!

The Resurrection Spell was a highly intricate incantation, involving numerous complex concepts such as time, life, and fate. Each of these elements, when analyzed from a purely magical perspective, required mastery over time magic, nature magic, and the more enigmatic fate magic.

However, for Peter, this was not particularly complicated.

To him, who had already mastered the Great Web, life and fate were merely aspects of his current authority.

Moreover, he wielded the power over life and fate across the entire Multiverse.

Compared to the Omniversal scale, this single universe—Earth-13—seemed almost insignificant.

As for the aspect of time...

Time was indeed a blind spot for Peter. His ability to travel back through time and space was only possible due to the Great Web.

However, time did not play a dominant role in the Resurrection Spell. Besides, with the Power of the Captain Universe reinforcing him, it was possible for him to temporarily wield a fraction of time's authority.

Thanks to his already formidable soul, Peter quickly learned the Resurrection Spell—and in the process, he also grasped many other spells recorded within the Book of Vishanti.

Perhaps this was the book's gift to him for saving this world.

Peter did not rush to absorb all the spells. Instead, he bid farewell to Doctor Strange, preparing first to resurrect this world's Spider-Man.

Before he left, however, Doctor Strange warned him,

"The Resurrection Spell—this must be the first and last time you use it. You would do well to forget it after this. This spell defies the natural order. If you resurrect someone, you will be forever lost in the Multiverse—until eternity itself. You will be consumed by the strange and the unknown, never to transcend."

Peter frowned. "Then what about this time?"

Doctor Strange replied,

"This time is different. Peter died to save this world. And you—are also saving this world. A savior resurrecting another savior... this is a resurrection permitted by the world's laws."

Peter nodded in understanding.

In other words, unless the person being resurrected had an immense impact on the world itself, the Cosmos would not turn a blind eye to their revival.

For example, in the original timeline, Captain Universe Spider-Man had also died in battle against Solus.

However, that battle had no direct consequences on the world itself.

Thus, once dead—he remained dead.

But this time, things were different.

Had Captain Universe Spider-Man not made a decisive choice—sacrificing himself to transfer the Power of the Captain Universe to Peter—this entire universe would have already been erased.

For that reason alone, the Cosmos allowed his resurrection.

Peter bid farewell to Doctor Strange and made his way to Spider-Man's home.

The hero's lifeless body still lay quietly on the bed.

As a Spider-Man originating from a Quasi-Prime Universe, the Captain Universe Spider-Man had endured a life full of hardships.

Aunt May had passed away.

Mary Jane had become just a close friend.

Uncle Ben—had died long ago when he first became Spider-Man.

In the end, Captain Universe Spider-Man was left utterly alone.

His room carried only traces of his solitary existence.

Peter placed his hand over Captain Universe Spider-Man's body and began reciting the incantation for the Resurrection Spell.

Moments later, Captain Universe Spider-Man slowly opened his eyes and sat up from the bed.

"What... happened?"

"Welcome back, Peter."

Peter extended a hand, embracing him lightly.

After Peter explained everything that had transpired since his death, Captain Universe Spider-Man finally understood what had happened.

Then, Peter prepared to return the Power of the Captain Universe to the Spider-Man of Earth-13, but the hero refused.

The Spider-Man of Earth-13 simply said,

"Look, it doesn't want to return just yet—because you still have other things to do."

"Something else?"

"There's still one enemy left, and he's still trapped in this universe! Now that the Master Weaver has been temporarily removed from the Great Web by you, Solus no longer has the ability to open the doors of the multiverse! This is the perfect opportunity to eliminate him!"

The Spider-Man of Universe 13 was truly a seasoned warrior. He quickly analyzed the situation and made the best possible judgment.

"You're right!" Peter lowered his head and looked at his hands.

The power of the Captain Universe flickered faintly, as if responding to him.

"You're not leaving my body... does that mean you want me to end this?" Peter murmured.

"Go, Peter, our Spider leader—Spacetime Spider-Man!"

With the expectant gaze of Universe 13's Spider-Man upon him, Peter opened a portal. In the blink of an eye, he was in space.

Not far away, a massive planet with dozens of rings loomed ahead.

It was none other than the second-largest planet in the solar system—Saturn!

This colossal planet, with a diameter 9.5 times that of Earth and a volume 830 times greater, was surrounded by an extensive ring system.

Within one of these rings, a figure was plummeting toward the planet's core.

Earlier, Solus had taken a full-power strike from Captain Universe Spider-Man, sending him hurtling across half the solar system!

Only near Saturn's Roche limit did the planet's gravity finally catch him, pulling him down toward its surface.

Boom!

Peter raised his hand and launched two massive magic grenades.

There was no need for restraint in this battle—he could unleash his energy without holding back.

With the power of Captain Universe augmenting him, his magical prowess had now reached the peak of a single-universe level!

Solus was actually still conscious, but he had noticed something was off about this world—something that had started on Earth.

So, he had simply followed the trajectory of Captain Universe Spider-Man's attack, using it as an excuse to flee farther from Earth.

Who would have thought that Saturn would trap him instead?

And even more unexpectedly—an ambush awaited him!

Just as Solus realized what was happening, a magic grenade exploded right in his face.

Boom!

The explosion shattered a section of Saturn's rings, vaporizing everything within tens of kilometers into a vacuum.

But that wasn't all.

In the next instant, countless versions of Peter materialized across the floating debris.

These rock fragments made up Saturn's rings.

Ordinarily, they would have coalesced into a moon, but because they existed within Saturn's Roche limit, they could never merge. Instead, they remained as an enormous ring system.

(The smaller an astronomical body, the weaker the tidal forces acting on it. Once the fragments reach a certain size, they stop breaking apart—unless occasional collisions between small bodies occur.)

Among them were not only rock fragments but also clusters of ice and snow.

Peter stood atop these scattered pieces, and in the very moment each version of him appeared, they were instantly empowered by the strength of Captain Universe—each one reaching the peak of a single-universe level.

And the number of these Peters?

Thousands upon thousands!

Boom!

"No!" Solus let out a furious roar before being engulfed by an endless barrage of magical energy.

The fearsome Totem Hunter, who had ravaged countless universes, struck terror into the hearts of many, and slain numerous totemic beings—met his ultimate end!
