Chapter 1 - Ch.1 The Sign

Inside of a world , there's a mysterious planet being covered with a mysterious cloud that covered the entire sky.

These cloud was strange, it was a mysterious phenomenon that couldn't be explained with science nor there's a record of it. Making everything seems to be impossible to be explain.

The clouds continue to grow darker, swirling as slowly as it could get. A faint rumble of thunder start to swelling waiting for its time to crash the earth.

At first the rain start soft and gentle, like they were waiting their time to fall upon the earth.

However, as time passed the rain start to fell harder and harder like the sound of a drumming war melody. Making the nature sing like it's time to Fullfiil their very own role with its intensity.

A man, who unconscious in the middle of the plain start to open his eyes because this natural phenomenon, unbeknownst of whatever just happened to him.

As the man slowly awoke from his slumber, he took a moment to looked around him. Wondering what he was doing in this place, and how he was here this time.

The rain start to fell harder.

The ground was wet and muddy, and yet this man wasn't aware of his surroundings because he was still detached from reality. It felt like he was seeing something inside of a dream, something that wasn't supposed to happened.

"Umm? "

"Where I'm I?"

The man sat for a moment, still dazed and confused as he tried to make sense what just happened to himself.

"What's going on? Seriously what I'm I doing in this place? "

With a groan and a shake of his head, he start to standing with his own feet. His body was kinda stiff and sore as he trying to steady himself.

He had no clue, how long he was here nor either how he was awake on this place after all this place was somewhere he never seen before.

"Anyone!!!?? "

"Somebody!? Anyone could help me!? "

The man, once again trying to take a deep breath to opened his mouth "SOMEBODY HELP!!!"

He was hoping someone would hear him, but alas the sound of the rain was so loud making his cries drowned without a trace.

The man take a deep sigh " There's no way anyone could heard me.. The rain was simply too loud"

After a while, he turn his attention toward his surroundings, looking around if there's a shelter or any sign of civilization that could help him.

"When I'm thinking about it, i-i could lose my life here.. right? There's no civilization, a forest, even a shelter."

"W-what should I do?"

With no other options, he decided to prepared himself against the rain and started walking in the only direction he could see, straight ahead.

After a few hours of struggling to keep moving.

The man body slowly starting to give in to the cold, his clothes was completely soaked as the rains relentlessly pouring on him.

The chill in the air also starting to seeped into his very bones, making his body to shiver. One thing he know if he didn't find a shelters soon he will definitely die.

"God... What kinda dream is this? It's so cold.. Please I don't wanna die"

The man take a deep sigh, his breathe was unstable and his body start to given up in any minutes. In his mind, there's nothing except 'trying' to survive.

After a while.

When the hope start to diminish there's a faint of silhouette far beyond the horizon.

"A FOREST!? "

"Although it was kinda hard to see through the rain, it's looks like I spotted a silhouette of forest far ahead. I must keep walking on, i cant give up yet... No matter what happens I must survive!"

1 Hours later.

2 Hours later.

As he continued on his journey toward the distant forest, the man noticed something peculiar. No matter how far he walked, the distance to the forest seemed to remain the same.

The landscape, with its endless stretch of flat fields and rolling hills, seemed to play tricks on his eyes, making it difficult to judge distance and perspective.

"Almost there.. "

1 Hours.

2 Hours.

3 Hours.

"Eh? "

*THUUUD

The man's body finally given up as he collapses to the ground.

"What's going on?"

The rain continued to pour down on him despite his desperation, he didn't realize the cold air was finally made it's final ways toward his final moments. As if the death itself was whispering to his ears softly and elegantly.

"I can't move my body.. "

Slowly.

The man found himself feeling strangely warm. The rain that had been pouring down on him before starting to felt mysteriously comfortable, like it was a gentle summer enveloping him in a soothing embrace.

"That's odd, I should be feeling worse, not better. Is this how it feels when you're about to die?"

As the man lay there in the rain, his shifted his thoughts to his own identity. "Hanz Diamond"

"An average guy living in the countryside, hoping to find a better future"

As the raindrops continued to fall on his face, Hanz found himself strangely happy with this end. It's feel like he was experiencing something extraordinary, a moment of true peace.

He closed his eyes, and let the raindrops wash over him, a fitting end even though it's kinda strange because he doesn't know why he's ended up here.

In the moments before his consciousness faded, Hanz found himself reflecting on his life, the twenty-one years he had lived. It hadn't been grand or extraordinary, just an ordinary life filled with ordinary experiences. But he realized that despite its simplicity, it was still a life worth living.

The memories of his life passed through his mind, each moment flashing before him like a reel of film. There was joy and sadness, triumph and disappointment, all the moments of memories his short life.

As the Hanz consciousness began to drift away, he found his gaze drawn upwards.

There, floating above him was a door, and not just any door, but one that was unbelievably large.

He stared at the enormous door in disbelief, dumbfounded at the sight before him. How could such a thing be floating above him? What could be awaiting on the other side of that colossal doorway?

With a final exhale, Hanz consciousness slowly faded away, the last thread of his life slipping through his fingers like grains of sand.

The first victim of the nature in this time and day, the cold rain is the only witness to the passing of a life, brief yet somehow satisfying life.
