"Emperor Veron!" Baste called as the Emperor hide himself on a tree making himself invisible.
He doesn't want to go meet with the elder dragons and explain the situation on why he cancelled all the dragon wives that are bound to test to beat his heir.
Gabriel knew that if he stays in the palace Baste will actually get to find him so he teleported to where Red is.
Redence and Flora made and agreement to help each other in finding all the books. Yet she found herself in an abandoned cave where all the detained healers are locked up including Bless.
"Why are we seeing Bless when you know she hates me too much?" Red asked as Flora smiled. "Bless magic didn't actually vanished by her bad doings to the other creatures." Flora said as she lead the way to the staircase.
"Her magic vanished because she failed to do the ritual of enchantment." Flora explained.
"That's the third book, Ritual of Enchantment." Red said. "I don't know about yours and how you did the summoning by yourself but if you failed that time it's also the time you loose your magic." Flora added.
"Why the Enchantment? It only gives you the spell to-"
'Satisfaction....'
'Thats right, it's the spell of satisfaction that all your desires will come true if you completed the ritual but without years of practice there will never be a progress.' Redence thought as she looked worried about it.
"She wanted to bear the child of the great Veron." Flora said as that made Redence stopped.
"Wait, What is the Priest Bless complete name?" Redence asked. "Blessed Marie..."
After hearing what Flora had to say Redence hands shakes as she knew that Bless was supposed to be the queen right now.
'Did you messed up something in this time loop Red? Hihi' a strange voice yet annoying to Redence ears appeared.
"Who is it!" Red shouted as she starts having a hard time breathing.
'You shouldn't have gone to the palace in the first place. You shouldn't have tried to please your stepfather's stupid wishes...' the voice just kept ringing on her ear.
"Redence!" Gab with his mask arrived as Redence lost her consciousness. "oh Lord Veron please forgive us for entering this cave." Flora goes down to her knees while Gab carry Red.
"What happened to her?" He asked as Flora cannot even answer that. On the other side Bless was also shouting in pain as everyone hears it.
"NO NOOOO! DON'T LISTEN TO THE VOICE!" Flora shouted as she run towards Blessed Cell but it's too late for her.
"Oh my gosh...." Flora dropped in her knees as her hands fold and prayed for forgiveness.
Even the Great Veron Gabriel was confused since he just came immediately after seeing the Celestial mark glowing.
"Wake up Redence...." Gabriel said as he looked worried about her. The celestial mark brightened as Red went back to her consciousness.
"Great Emperor...." Redence called as she cannot believe what she's seeing. "Wait, What happened here?! Bless cannot die!" Redence said as she jump off the Emperor's arms to check Blessed body.
'Just what is this girl thinking touching a corpse body.' Gabriel thought as he stared at Redence looking worried. "Sooner or later she will still end up beheaded so what the point on her dying early?" Gabriel asked as he forgot that he was wearing the celestial dragon mask for Redence not to know that it was him the Celestial Gab she knew the whole time.
"Our Great Emperor Veron, I heard your mighty power could heal a person in no time as long as it's breathing." Redence said as she now down to her feet.
'It seems like she knows a lot about me.' Gabriel thought as Flora bow down her head.
"As long as it's your place and they died in it you can restore them right?" Red added. "Yes." Gabriel replied.
"Please revive the highest priest, Her heart is still beating weakly. We'll loose her in a matter of minutes." Red pleaded. "But she hurt you and you almost died because of her." Gabriel said as Red was speechless.
'Why does the emperor cares if I get hurt?' Red thought as Gabriel went back to his senses.
"I mean you save me that's why I'm just returning the favor for .... Uhmmm...." Flora sighed.
"Please have mercy on her your highness." Flora said as Gabriel sighed.
"I cannot do that, You must think that Bless committed suicide but as you can see her body leaks of some unknown entity draining the life off her." Gabriel said as Red cannot accept that.
"Bless here is the person who will bear your child." Red said as Gabriel stopped. "Pardon?"
"You might think I'm some sort of delusional your grace but Blessed Mari is the one who'll bear your heir."
"Redence..."
Red closed her eyes waiting for the emperor to strike on her. Yet rather than striking her the emperor smiled.
"I don't know what past you've been alive with but I know for the fact that Bless is not the one who'll bear my child." Gabriel said as Flora cannot believe her own two eyes.
'The Emperor Veron smiled....'
"But I ...."
"If you want Bless to be healed I'll try to do my best but you shall know that her death is still marked all over her face. Death will still come to her. Death will still kill her." Gabriel said as Red nodded.
'Maybe the Emperor already found a suitable wife for him to reject the past where Bless bear his heir.' Redence thought as the emperor move closer to Bless.
"Restore ...." Gabriel chant as the golden light appears.
'This is it, The golden light of celestial. The most powerful light in resurrection yet the emperor powers only have its limits unlike the black magic books that would go beyond limits.' Red thought.
'I don't know what specific relax Red and the Emperor had but it is very unusual to see the emperor use his forbidden magic on a criminal with a witness.' Flora thought as she stared at how magnificent the golden light looks like.
Even if both of them are not injured they felt like the light itself healed something inside them.
Blessed survive that day as Flora and Red did their best to take care of her weakened body.
They cannot let Bless die as she will die with the books knowledge being buried within her. Once you've failed to execute the black magic the book will be burned by itself like it's never been owned in the first place.
"Emperor Veron where had you been?!" Baste was furious as the king and queen arrive without their son welcoming them.
"I almost lost my life because you didn't show up on your parents visit-" Baste stopped as Gabriel looked exhausted.
"You smell like the Golden Light." Baste said that made Gabriel flinched.
"You didn't do it right?! Where did you waste your magic that could cost you a year of mana to restore?!" Baste asked as Gabriel sighed.
"I revive Bless,"
"What?! A prisoner?!"
"Redence was also there, I just got myself into the mess when the Celestial mark lights as Red lost her consciousness. Bless almost died too as something inside her ends her body." Gabriel explained.
"But still that doesn't answer the question on why did you use the golden light on her." Baste looked at the emperor as he too don't know why he waste his mana on such thing.
"Red told me Bless is the one who'll give birth to my heir."
"What did you say?!"
"She said she came from the past and it was Bless who will give me a heir." Judging at the emperor's look he seems unpleased by what Red said.
"I bet you rejected it since you have Red." Baste sighed. "But to think that Redence came from the past, She might knew that the former Highest priest Bless is the person your bound to marry." Baste added as Gabriel glared at him.
"Do you even get to understand what are you talking about?" Gabriel asked. "I'm just thinking maybe the former highest priest Bless can offer something for you that you choose her in the past life to be your wife-"
"SHUT IT." Gabriel shouted that made Baste stop.
"I'm sorry your highness I might have stepped too far." He apologize as he stepped back.
"Red doesn't even know that Gabriel the Celestial Guard and the Emperor Veron is one person. She just wanted to live that day to see her passing mother." Gabriel said.
"I agree with that your majesty, But did they knew that the Golden Light was one of the Black Magic books that has pass down to each heir of the celestial emperor on each generation?" Baste asked.
"No, No one knew that outside the Celestial castle. Only you and my parents knew about such thing." Gabriel said as Baste bow down his head.
"Then can I tell you your highness that the penguin that Red performed was also from one of the Black Magic books which is Revival of the Dead?"
