Chapter 284 - The Art of Selling Weapons

Open up space?"

Luo Chuan was momentarily taken aback.

The system made it sound so… simple.

Creating an entirely new space inside Origin Mall—as if it were just flipping a switch.

His mind spun with thoughts, but in the end, they all condensed into a single conclusion.

"Awesome"

"Thank you for the host's praise." The system responded flatly, devoid of emotion.

Luo Chuan ignored the monotone reply and asked, "What kind of weapons will be available for sale?"

"All weapons from the Tower of Trials Mall."

Luo Chuan's expression froze.

Then, slowly, an amused smirk crept across his face.

He was very familiar with the weapons in the Tower of Trials.

There were not only standard spiritual weapons but also an entire arsenal of science-fiction-inspired weaponry.

Blades, bows, staffs—sure.

But also energy rifles, plasma cannons, and mechanical war machines capable of reducing mountains to rubble.

And in terms of sheer power?

Some of those sci-fi weapons weren't inferior to high-grade spirit weapons at all.

Luo Chuan could already picture it—

The cultivators of Azure Continent, revered warriors who had trained in ancient arts for centuries, suddenly pulling out laser rifles and explosive grenades.

"A battlefield of absolute chaos."

He shook his head, dismissing the ridiculous images.

"What about the pricing?" Luo Chuan asked.

"For weapons classified under the Heaven, Earth, Mystic, and Yellow grades, prices will match those in the Tower of Trials Mall with minor fluctuations. For weapons above the level of Saint Artifacts, the price will be determined based on individual attributes."

Luo Chuan nodded.

That seemed reasonable.

Some weapons were beyond price tags—their worth depended on their uniqueness and power.

But then, another thought struck him.

"Are there any purchase restrictions?"

After all, most products in Origin Mall had limitations.

Customers could only buy one type of item per day.

Game time in the Tower of Trials and Cooking Tutorials was capped at three hours daily.

Would weapons follow the same rule?

"Each person may purchase only one weapon per day. There are no other restrictions."

---

Luo Chuan raised an eyebrow.

Then, after a moment's thought, he understood.

The price and power level of the weapons were already natural restrictions.

High-level weapons weren't just expensive—many cultivators wouldn't even be able to use them properly.

What was the point of adding artificial limits when the weapons themselves dictated their own exclusivity?

Satisfied, Luo Chuan wrapped up his conversation with the system and soon drifted off to sleep.

That night, he dreamed of nothing.

A rare, peaceful rest.

When Luo Chuan awoke, the first thing he did was prepare his own breakfast.

Why?

Because he couldn't be bothered to go all the way to Wind Immortal Tower.

After eating, he headed downstairs.

His eyes swept over the interior of Origin Mall.

No changes.

---

A faint sense of disappointment surfaced—but he quickly dismissed it.

"48 hours of remodeling. No rush, no rush."

He reminded himself that patience was key.

With that, he unlocked the store doors.

As expected, a crowd had already gathered outside.

Some familiar faces—

Xia Yuan, the Third Elder, Wu Ying…

And, of course, students from Soaring Cloud Academy and Profound Moon Academy.

But today, there were also new faces.

Luo Chuan noticed their robes, their subtle gestures of respect toward the Three Elders.

---

"Medicine Valley disciples?"

Not surprising.

Word of Origin Mall had clearly spread further.

The moment the doors swung open, the crowd poured in.

Luo Chuan didn't pay them much mind and returned to his usual place.

But with Yao Ziyan absent, his role as the store manager became unavoidable.

Meaning—

He had to collect spirit crystals himself.

As the crowd settled in, a voice called out.

"Boss, where's Sister Ziyan?"

Luo Chuan glanced up.

It was Gu Yunxi, looking around curiously.

"She had something to take care of. She'll be gone for a few days." Luo Chuan replied casually.

"Oh."

Gu Yunxi nodded, though her expression carried a hint of disappointment.

Soon, everyone's attention shifted to the shelves of mineral water.

More than twenty customers…

Yet only ten bottles available.

A clear shortage.

Most people would leave empty-handed today.

But unlike other places where disputes would arise, here in Origin Mall, the matter was handled with surprising harmony.

Even Luo Chuan found it a bit amusing.

"Only in my store would customers be this civilized about rare goods."

---

In the end, the solution was simple and fair.

Xia Yuan and the other senior masters each took one bottle.

The remaining ones?

Divided among the rest based on luck.

It wasn't the most structured method—

But no one complained.

That was just how things worked in Origin Mall.
