Swoosh!
Michael had just opened the door when a rotten hand suddenly reached out to grab him.
"Whoa!'
He instinctively swung his sledgehammer upwards while taking a leap back.
'That was close, and that's one The Rock size walker.' Michael frowned as he watched the over six feet tall, full of muscles walker stumble out of the door. The force from his swing failed to sever its arm and only broke it. Leaving it dangling thanks to its skin and remaining muscles that kept it from being severed.
'A mutant?' That was the first thought that immediately came to mind when he saw the monster, but he crossed it out as fast as it came since he figured that a mutant walker wouldn't easily get injured just from a swing of his hammer.
Forgetting the fact that he had only encountered a couple of mutant walkers so far and that there isn't enough information to reach that kind of conclusion.
'But that doesn't mean it couldn't be one though. That one from that well was one too, though it wasn't that hard to kill.' Still, Michael decided to be cautious this time around and increased the distance between them.
While the possible mutant walker is stumbling towards Michael, more walkers are also slowly coming out of the door he opened and with five walkers already behind the first one.
'Just to be safe.' With that thought in mind, Michael pulled out his handgun and started shooting the bastard on its head.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Thud! Thud! Thud!
He was half-expecting the bullets to finish the job, but the scene he witnessed made him chuckle at the absurdity of the situation he's in today.
"Shit, don't tell me you really are one?
The bullets precisely struck the walker's head, but the bullets failed to even penetrate past the skin and were squashed upon contact.
To compare it to something familiar, it was like hitting Cap's Shield. The only difference is that it's a rotting head instead of a shield.
The noise from the gunshots not only attracted more walkers from inside the warehouses, but also those walkers standing idle behind the two small warehouses and had started moving towards the source of the noise.
The suspected mutant walker stopped in its tracks and stared dumbly at Michael for a couple of moments before the dumb look on its face was replaced by a wrathful expression.
The huge walker slowly opened its mouth and released a soft moan at first that slowly turned into an angry bellow!
"aaaaaAAHHHHH!"
Following its bellow, the walker stumbled no longer and instead slowly charged towards Michael with its shoulder first, aiming to tackle him!
Michael was obviously bewildered by sudden change in its behavior and instinctively let out a curse. "What the fuck.."
The bastard was coming in fast and it did not give him more time to think!
Michael immediately dodged to the side and rolled as the charging walker zoomed past him just as he did and crashed towards one of the empty trucks. The force behind its charge destroyed the trailer and bent it into what looked like a deformed V or like a woman spreading her legs.
Crash!

Michael ignored the monster and quickly eliminated the walkers behind him while that huge mutant walker was still stuck between the wreckage. Its shoulder now covered in cuts and disgusting looking goos flowed out of them.
He made quick work with the walkers that came out of the warehouse while making his way over to the door and closed it to prevent more from coming out.
"Just my luck."
Just when he thought that his problems had lessened, Michael heard some familiar noise coming from all the way back of the large warehouse.
Walkers slowly came stumbling out from the corner while making that horrifying and collective noise they make when they are clustered and moving together.
Roaaar!
The monster finally managed to free itself from being stuck and released another horrifying bellow directed towards Michael.
'Two mutants in the span of several hours. What are the odds that a single town produced two mutations?' While having those thoughts inside, Michael did not wait this time and instead took the initiative and sprinted onwards. He did not want to give the mutant another chance to charge at him since he realized from the truck that getting hit with that would certainly incapacitate him.
'It's head and shoulder area are clearly tough, but its forearms are weak since I managed to break one. Then..' Michael thought while running towards the mutant, his eyes slowly drifted to its legs.
The mutant walker wanted to charge again, but Michael had already closed the distance between them. So, it chose the next best option, to grab him.
It stretched its unbroken arm towards Michael, but the latter just swiftly ducked down, gripped the sledgehammer with both of his hands and swung it towards its knee mid sprint!
Baaam!
The collision between the two caused a noise similar to two hardwood colliding against each other. It was obvious from the sound that Michael failed to decapitate the mutant's leg. Though he had certainly caused quite the damage on it since the leg had bent backward from its knee, forcing the huge monster to take a knee since it could not stand properly anymore.
Roar!
The mutant howled and weirdly enough, Michael could feel the pain in its voice.
On the other hand, both of his hands were slightly shaking from the impact, but he wore a relieved look on his face.
'Good!' Michael was glad that he made the right guess. He stood behind the walker and slowly raised the sledgehammer in the air with both of his hands and smashed it down towards the back of the mutant's head.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The hammer failed to do anything to its hard head during the initial attacks, but Michael kept striking its head like his life depended on it. The mutant tried to protect its head, but Michael would always strike its hand away with the hammer. The same scene kept repeating and It wasn't until the eleventh strike that Michael's attack finally made a difference and caused a dent on the monster's head.
This time, the mutant had already been beaten black and blue onto the ground.
Finally seeing some result, Michael did not let up his attacks and kept at it!
Bang! Bang! Bang! Snap!
Michael kept hitting its head until the sledgehammer finally reached its limit and snapped.
Ending its journey with Michael.

Michael did not even have time to celebrate when a horrifying moan of a walker echoed behind him. It tried to grab him, but he quickly dodged it by sprinting forward. He only took several steps forward before he quickly spun around to face them and during said action, he was pulling out his handgun.
Aimed and shot!
