When I saw the past with the help of the God of Fun, the only things I recalled weren't just the various functions of different games.
It was also the numerous pieces of lore of games from when I still played them religiously.
And as a part of the lore in Minecraft, an Enderman was a tall black skinned species with purple glowing eyes that could manipulate space however they pleased. Most often manifesting as the power to teleport.
This teleportation besides being a convenient mode of mobility, also had the function of teleporting the enderman away from a projectile if it ever got close to them.
"You are... Who are you?" Voice becoming serious, the Queen who I thought was an Enderman confirmed the facts as she teleported besides me, Rapier placed at my throat.
Lightly coating my neck with flames causing only a slight pressure on it, I looked at the Tall Queen and spoke.
"Well... My name is Slade Bridge, and since I was sent by the God of Death, it seems fitting that I know things right?"
Giving my answer that was part lie and part truth since the real truth was a bit more complicated than just that. The Queen fell silent.
Thinking for a moment before teleporting away to the side of her Servants, they had at some point gotten into battle stances, aiming their respective weapons at me.
Sheathing her Rapier, the Queen gestured for the Servants to sheathe their weapons as she nodded at me.
"I can sense that you're not telling me the Full Truth Slade Bridge." The Queen's voice distorted slightly as the purple glow coming from behind the mask intensified.
"But I can at least tell you were sincere in your desire in wanting me to participate in this meeting."
"So are you coming?"
"Yes." Nodding her head, the Queen pulled out a purple dagger and tossed it at me. "Take it"
Catching the hiltless blade, I glanced at it and couldn't help but ask.
"What is it?"
"A time broken dagger with my essence within, bring it with you to the meeting point and infuse your mana into it when the time comes, I'll sense it and bring my servants with me."
"Got it." Putting the Dagger into my inventory, the Queen's hand twitched slightly to no one's notice as I gave my sincerest and most formal bow.
"Until then, Enderman Queen of Sevallia."
"There's no more Sevallia to speak of anymore, only a Kingdom of Disease" The Queen snorted "But yes, until the time comes Chosen of Death"
Giving her own farewell in a slightly more distorted voice, she raised her spatial blade and briefly made a sword dance in the air before sheathing it again.
"Until we meet again..."
Forming a door shaped tear, the space itself collapsed into a black abyss as the Queen unhesitatingly stepped into the void, her voice echoed through the doorway.
"Until we meet again secret keeper"
Following close behind the Queen, the three Servants gave a bow filled with courtesy towards me before stepping into the black void like doorway that closed soon after.
'Well that's that.'
Turning to look at the broken lighthouse, I additionally noticed I was now surrounded by numerous monstrous infected undead that were attracted by the clash.
'Well this doesn't bode well.'
Bringing out a pair of blades, I noticed that most of the weapons in my inventory had a much lower durability than after when I had fought the Queen.
'Well this bodes even worse.'
Sweat coating my forehead as I pondered on a way to escape, as if to mock me, everywhere I looked, a sea of undead infected had gathered.
Plus, they weren't even the same undead as before.
And if the underlying logic of different appearance equals to new powers, then I think I was screwed.
Especially since it seems like more than a few of them relied on suicide bombing tactics.
Staring at the sky, I wondered if this was revenge for pointing out the Queen's race before the first undead rushed at me with a green glow suffusing its body, an explosion following soon after.

Moving through Space with the power inherent to the Enderman race, A Queen only in name stepped through the black corridor, her Servants following close behind.
Hand navigating the strands of twisted space in this similarly twisted world of connected time, in the Queen's eyes several hundreds of lines were drawn throughout the darkness.
Grasping one of the many strands of space, the Queen followed it to the other side of the island where another backup sealing site was located.
Stepping through the black corridor just like that, the Queen's eyes twitched as they restlessly moved over one of the many dozens of purple strands in the world of black.
Unlike normal Enderman that could teleport to wherever they desired in the world if they focused hard enough, the Queen couldn't previously do that.
Since time and space were intricately intertwined, if time was to loop endlessly, space would loop similarly, cutting off parts of the world into self contained portions that could only be accessed through certain paths.
What the Queen was doing was similar to leaving a trail marker to find these certain paths again.
Something that she couldn't do before the Malaise came onto the island and infected every living being, murdering the islands inhabitants.
You could say that it was both a blessing and a curse for the Queen to overcome the limits of her flaws at the cost of hundreds of thousands of her people.
But anyways.
Grasping onto one of the many trail markers that led to the backup sealing site in the off chance that the Lighthouse was to fall before it was supposed to. The Queen recalled the man she had briefly fought with.
He was a strange fellow.
Using a unique sense that she had gained that had appeared simultaneously with the creation of the time barrier, the Queen could tell that the Man. Slade Bridge hadn't even been here for more than a year.
This led credence to the words he had said, it seemed that he wasn't lying when he stated that he was brought here by a God.
Of course she could tell that he wasn't telling the entire truth of how he got here using an intuition developed over her years as the Queen of Pre Fall Sevallia, but who didn't have their own secrets?
She knew for a fact that her Husband carried more than a few.
But she never recalled the God of Death's dominion ever having a power to completely sever the senses of the Endermen intimately connected to the fabric of space.
Looking for one strand of purple amongst the numerous others connected to her body, the Queen's free hand aimlessly grasped at the air before finally grasping a purple strand with an end that seemed to float off endlessly before being abruptly cut off.
This was the strand of her essence connected to the dagger she had previously given to Slade.
'Whatever that man did to my dagger, it completely separated it from the world.'
Even with the innate sense of space given to Endermen, the Queen was unable to sense where exactly in the world her dagger had disappeared.
It was as if it was in a completely different dimension
'If I can just get my hands on the source of that strange power...'
The Queen's eyes flashed an even brighter purple, her End Roots showing as she tightly grasped the blazing string.
'Then maybe I can just end the curse of the Endermen.'
Releasing the cut off string, she grasped her blade at the point where she intuitively sensed the string in her hand had ended and coated the blade in a dense concentrate of Mana.
Shaping it to her instincts, the blade using mana to fold space itself around it was swung.
Tearing four distinct cuts through the air, a rectangle shaped doorway was formed as she stepped through the portal, her eyes opening to see the place where the Lighthouse was previously located.
Servants swiftly following behind the Queen, the Queen took in a deep breath as she spread her senses to the second sealing site, making sure to remember the Man named Slade Bridge.
She searched fifty years for a cure to the curse of the endermen, a year more of waiting wouldn't hurt.
